Toby Daspit Assistant Professor in the Department of Teaching, Learning and Leadership at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is co-editor of Popular Culture and Critical Pedagogy (Garland, 2000) and the forthcoming Science Fiction Curricula, Cyborg Teachers, and Youth Culture(s) (Peter Lang). Toby was the focus of the Initiative's earlier Project 313, a failed attempt to clone Bruce Springsteen.
