Buffy Scholar/Critic
Jennifer Dowling received both her BA and Master of Liberal Studies at the Ohio State University, in Columbus, Ohio. Having written her thesis on 18th century Yiddish chapbooks, she was awarded a DPhil from Oxford University in 1998. Since 1997 she has been the lecturer in Yiddish language and culture in the Department of Semitic Studies at the University of Sydney. In what little spare time she has, Jennifer enjoys watching Buffy and Angel, and has been known to enlighten "captive" students, friends and family about the shows.
