Buffy Scholar/Critic

Howard Harris is national secretary of the Australian Assn for Professional & Applied Ethics, and teaches the course International Management Ethics & Values in the management degree at UniSA. He recently spent two months at the Practical Ethics Center at the university of Montana, rewriting the course – and adding the Buffy links.

His doctoral research looked at the role of courage in management decision making and current research interests include an investigation in the nature of collaboration and networking. This links his interest in ethics with his role as founding director of Smartlink, the National Institute for Manufacturing Management. An engineer, he has worked in industry in Australia and overseas.
