Bruce A. McClelland is, by training or credentials or occupation, a writer, translator, vampirologist and technonerd. He received his Ph.D. in Slavic Studies at the University of Virginia, writing his dissertation on Sacrifice, Scapegoat, Vampire: The Religious and Social Origin of the Bulgarian Folkloric Vampire. He has published four books of poetry, a book of translations of the Russian poet Osip Mandelstam, and his translations of Russian poetry have appeared in journals, books and anthologies. |
