Buffy Scholar/Critic

Karen Eileen Overbey is a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University; her dissertation focuses on the objects and ritual practices of the cult of the saints in medieval Ireland. She is a member of GRIAN, an interdisciplinary Irish Studies organization, and an editor of Foilsiu, GRIAN's journal. An authority on haircuts and Japanese fashion, Karen (not-so) secretly desires to be the "Willow" of her social circle.
