Buffy Scholar/ Critic

Lee Parpart is a doctoral student in social and political thought at York University in Toronto, Canada. A former journalist and film columnist, her critical work on ci nema and culture has appeared in numerous Canadian publications. She has contributed to several anthologies, including Gendering the Nation (University of Toronto Press, 1999); Masculinity: Bodies, Movies, Culture (Routledge, 2001); and North of Everything: English-Canadian Cinema After 1980 (University of Alberta Press, 2002).
