Buffy Scholar/Critic
Zoë-Jane Playdon is Head of Education at Kent, Surrey and Sussex Postgraduate Medicine and Dentistry at the University of London. She was educated at the universities of Newcastle on Tyne, Leicester, Warwick and at Henley Management College, and holds doctorates in contemporary Irish literature and in management. Her particular interests, and recent publications, are in participative management and education processes on the one hand, and feminist spirituality on the other. In her spare time, she works in the field of human rights, and has acted as adviser to government departments, the National Council for Civil Liberties and other organisations in those areas. She is presently the Co-Chair of GLADD, the Gay and Lesbian Association of Doctors and Dentists. |
