Elizabeth L. Rambo, a contributing editor of the Encyclopedia of Buffy Studies, is an associate professor of English literature at Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. She received her Ph.D. in medieval English literature and Celtic studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, M.A. in English/Creative Writing from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and B.A. in English from St. Andrews Presbyterian College. She presented "Yeats's Entropic Gyre and Season 6 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer" at the University of East Anglia's "Blood, Text and Fears" conference, and is on the editorial board of Slayage. She is married, has several marvelously talented nieces and nephews, and recently acquired the collected editions of both Joss Whedon's Fray and Gareth Hinds' graphic Beowulf.
