Buffy Scholar/Critic

 

Steven Jay Schneider a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at Harvard University, and in Cinema Studies at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He is the author of Designing Fear: An Aesthetics of Cinematic Horror (Routledge), editor of Freud's Worst Nightmares; Psychoanalysis and the Horror Film (Cambridge University Press) and New Hollywood Violence (Manchester University Press), and co-editor of Horror International (Wayne State University Press) and Understanding Film Genres (McGraw-Hill). He'd like to do some slaying if only Buffy would give him a chance.
