Michelle Sagara West was born in 1963 and lives in Toronto. She was a finalist twice for the John W Campbell Memorial Award for the Best New Writer in 1991 and 1992. Michelle has since published numerous fantasy novels consisting of the Book of the Sundered series (five titles), The Sacred Hunt series (five titles) and The Sun Sword Trilogy.
