"L.A. WOMAN." BtVS Intertext/Allusion.

Album released by the rock band, the Doors, in 1971, which includes a song of the same title.  The lyrics include references to a “lost angel” and “City of Night.”

In Season Four, “The Yoko Factor," Xander and Riley await Buffy’s return from an Angel crossover episode (“Sanctuary”): 

Riley: You know if she’s back yet?

Xander: L.A. woman?  Haven’t heard from her.
