“You have a surprise for me tonight?” Severus Snape cocked an eyebrow at the cute red-head who stood in front of his desk.

“That’s what I said,” Willow Rosenberg said with a grin.

“What kind of surprise?” He studied her carefully, trying to get some read on what the young woman might be thinking.

“A good kind of surprise.”

Severus smiled, “Do I at least get a hint?”

Willow reached into her pocket and tossed something to him. Severus was more confused than ever.

“A candy cane?”

“Yep. I have to go. I have a class to teach. See you tonight.”


THAT NIGHT


Severus slowly made his way back to his rooms. It had been a long day. he just wanted to relax.

He spoke his password and entered his quarters, dropping some parchments on a nearby table. He heard a noise, and looked up. His jaw dropped at the sight of the red and white wonder that stood before him. He stood there in shock, not moving.

Willow smiled. “Come on Sev, don’t just stand there. I went to a lot of trouble for this. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find peppermint flavored body paint?”
