SUMMARY: SPOILERS for Graduation Day Part 2…. Sorta…. You see I watched the promo and I guess what the last scene between Buffy and Angel will be like, so I thought I’d send this before I get Jossed.
DISCLAIMER: I wish I owned them. But alas, Joss, Fox, and a buttload of other people do. I do own crap though!
NOTE: Thanks to Mel for proofing. She’s fabulous. Also, I am planning the sequel to this. Hell it could become a series! I would love it if I could get some feedback, though, about if you all think a sequel would interest you.

* * *

They stood still a moment, his brown eyes gazing longingly into her hazel ones. They stood over fifteen feet apart, but the heat they generated could have melted glaciers. Summoning up all the strength he had, reminding himself that it was for her, and he’d do anything for her, he turned and left. It was the hardest thing he ever did. Every step was met with almost a physical pain, as though the universe was telling him he belonged with her.

But he couldn’t.

So he kept going.

* * *

Buffy felt an overwhelming numbness. She’d known that he was going to leave, and it had hurt, but it hadn’t felt real until that very moment he walked away and out of sight. She couldn’t see him; she might never see him again.

Buffy thought she could never feel as much pain as she did when she sent him to Hell, but there was an ache inside her that was so incredible, she knew there was no worse pain. A part of her was missing and she was breaking. All the times she had worked so hard to keep it together for her friends must have overworked her, because she was falling apart now, falling with nothing to grasp onto.

* * *

Rupert Giles stood stunned with the others. They all watched as Buffy and Angel gave each other one last longing look, before Angel turned and left. He looked closely as Buffy as the realization of the situation hit her like a ton of bricks.

They’d just stopped the mayor’s ascension, leaving Faith, Mayor Wilkins, and many others dead. A few hours earlier, the teens had received their diplomas. So many ups and downs in just a few hours. Giles’ heart broke for the young girl he loved so much more than as a daughter. He looked away from her for a moment, silently admonishing himself for thinking such thoughts about her, especially at a time when her world was crashing down around her.

He saw her hands and knees start to shake violently and realized she had reached her breaking point. He was at her side in an instant, trying to support her so she wouldn’t fall. Her limbs all gave out at once, and he picked her up in his arms, carrying her swiftly to his car, away from all the fire trucks and ambulances that surrounded what was left of Sunnydale High School.

The rest of the group followed, both Xander and Joyce wisely keeping their mouths shut. Giles was not in the mood for any of Xander’s wisecracks or Joyce’s moronic comments. He managed to convince everyone that Buffy just needed some rest and would be feeling better tomorrow. They all headed home as Giles drove Joyce and Buffy home.

Giles carried his slayer inside the house and laid her on the couch. Joyce stood uselessly behind him.

The watcher looked worriedly as he brushed a strand of hair away from her face as she stared blankly at the ceiling. Giles noticed her eyes filled with tears that soon over flowed and fell steadily down her face.

Looking up at her mother, he said quietly. ‘Why don’t we go make Buffy some tea? I think that would help."

Joyce nodded and led him to the kitchen. Once inside, she asked him. "What am I supposed to do? I certainly can’t let her go on like this!"

"J-Joyce, her heart is broken. It’s not like she broke a nail and is just being melodramatic. She just had to endure more pain than any human being ever should."

"She’s eighteen! She doesn’t know what love is yet!" Joyce argued. "That man had no right to even entertain the notion of being with her, he let it go way too far!"

"They were in love, you cannot control who you fall in love with!"

Joyce shook her head. "He should have known better. He never should have gone near her. At least he finally did something good for her and left like I told him to."

"You told him to leave?" Buffy asked angrily from the kitchen door. She’d heard Giles and her mother arguing and had gotten up.

Surprised, Joyce looked over at her daughter. "I did it for you, Honey. If he really loved you, he’d do the thing that was best for you. You’ll never have a normal life with him."

"Damn it Mom! I will *never* have a normal life! Even if I find a "normal" guy I will have to lie to him. Do you know what it’s like having a relationship with a guy and to not be able to tell him about such a huge part of my life? It’s impossible!"

Giles remained silent, allowing the mother and daughter to let it all out.

"So, you can tell the boy." Joyce reasoned.

"Mom, it’s a *secret* identity! I can’t just go around introducing myself as Buffy, The Vampire Slayer to everyone I meet. How could you do this to me?"

"Buffy, you’re not old enough to make these kinds of decisions yet! As your mother it is my job to guide you along in life."

"You have no right! I’m not just some lovesick teenager! I have saved the world several times, but I can’t decide who I should date?"

"What’s done is done, Buffy, move on."

"Move on? Move on? Mom have you ever loved anyone in your life? Angel was, like, a part of me and now he’s gone. I can’t just go have some ice cream and pretend he never happened!"

"Buffy you are a child, you shouldn’t behaving all these adult feelings. I’m so glad he’s gone, now you can start over."

Buffy screamed, using her lungs to free all the anger and frustration filling her.

Joyce stared at her, bewildered, as Giles moved to Buffy, hugging her to his chest. Allowing her fiery tears to soak his shirt.

"Giles… please… take me away, before I hurt her or something."

He walked her to the door of the house, when Joyce rushed out of the kitchen and over to them. "Where do you think you’re taking her?"

Buffy pulled away from Giles and glared at her mother. "None of your damn business. I am eighteen years old, legally an adult, and old enough to make my own decisions. And you have proved more than once that you are completely incapable of making smart choices about *my* life so keep out!"

And with that, she grabbed Giles’ hand and dragged him out the door.

* * *

"B-Buffy, was there anywhere specific you wanted me to take you? Willow’s?" Giles asked as they drove away from her house.

"Actually," Buffy sniffled as she gazed sadly out the passenger side window, "would it be all right if I stayed with you? It’s just that, nobody can understand how I feel like you do."

Giles nodded. "That would be fine."

On the way, Giles had to keep pushing erotic thoughts of how he’d like to comfort her out of his mind. He was a bad bad person. A dirty old man. Here he was, thinking up ways to seduce a young girl that desperately needed him for consolation.

Once inside his apartment he made Buffy a cup of tea and settled her on his couch. He realized she hadn’t brought any pajamas, and since the odds of her wanting to go back home that night were practically non-existent he brought her the shirt to one of his pairs of pajamas. It was flannel and would probably go to her knees, so it should keep her warm. Even though it was almost summer, the nights in California were still fairly cold.

She accepted the shirt with a grateful smile. He took her cup and was heading to the kitchen when he heard her call to him in a small voice.

"Giles?"

He turned and looked at her face, sadly noting that he’d never seen her look so sorrowful. "Yes?"

"The pain, does it ever go away?" she asked, her voice cracking.

He sighed an walked back over to her, setting the cup back down on the coffee table as he sat on the couch next to her. "No, it never goes away, but it does… it dulls. It may not seem possible now, but someday you’ll be able to go a whole day without thinking about him too much. He’ll always be there in the back of your mind, and you’ll always wish you could be with him, but someday instead of remembering the way he looked and you felt tonight when he walked away, you’ll remember a good time you two shared."

She laid her head on his shoulder. "So I guess it’s like that saying ‘this too shall pass.’"

Giles nodded. "That about sums it up."

Giles enjoyed the weight of her head on his shoulder as they sat in silence for a few moments. Hearing her yawn, he suggested "Why don’t you go upstairs, you can take my bed."

"Oh, no, I couldn’t! As it is, I’m barging in on you. I can sleep on the couch."

"Buffy, take my bed. The couch is perfectly fine for me. I spend plenty of nights on it while doing research anyway."

"You sure?"

"Positive."

Buffy smiled and got up from the couch. Halfway to the stairs, she stopped and turned around. "Thank you." She said quietly as she walked back over to him and gave him a light kiss on the cheek.

Giles’ heartbeat double-time as Buffy ran up the stairs. He knew he shouldn’t be so…… lovesick, after all, it was a perfectly innocent act. Buffy had no idea what kind of feelings he harbored for her.

Unable to sleep, Giles decided the read from some new books he’d just had delivered a few months earlier, but had never had a chance to read while preparing for the ascension. He soon became lost in the words of the book, losing track of time and all the rest of reality until he heard a loud cry.

Buffy! She was calling for Angel. Giles felt his heart ache as he realized she must be having a nightmare. He remembered all the dreams he had of Jenny after Angelus had killed her.

Giles swiftly ran up the stairs and into the bedroom, to find Buffy thrashing about on the bed. He gingerly sat down on the edge of the bed and pulled her into his arms. Slowly, Buffy awoke, and realized where she was.

"Oh God… I’m sorry." She told him.

"There’s nothing to be sorry for." Giles reassured her.

"Did I wake you?"

"No, I actually got rather engrossed in a book of mine." He replied, smiling self-consciously.

Buffy smiled back at him. "That’s my Giles."

Their eyes met and Giles felt a shock course through his body. Before he knew what was happening, she was leaning towards him and…… kissing him?!?!

It was a soft kiss at first, gentle and timid, but as Buffy felt Giles respond, her confidence grew. She ran her fingers through his short hair, holding his face to hers as she kissed him more passionately. Giles wrapped his arm around her, stroking her back through his flannel shirt.

"We- we shouldn’t be doing this!" Giles gasped, pulling away from her as he encountered a moment of clarity.

"I don’t see why not." Buffy replied, delicately placing kisses on the side of his throat.

"B-b-because… you’re too young for me!"

Buffy pulled back and rolled her eyes. "Not you too!"

"Buffy, you’re very distraught right now."

"Please, Giles, I want you. If I was just distraught I would need *someone*, but I need *you* Giles."

Giles sighed desperately, torn between taking what he wanted, and what she claimed she wanted or by doing the right thing.

He kissed her again, more fiercely this time. All of a sudden, he felt Buffy’s skillful fingers briskly unbuttoning his shirt. He helped her yank it out from his trousers before shoving it off his shoulders. Before he knew it, he was left wearing nothing, laying on his back, with Buffy straddling him, wearing only the flannel shirt with nothing underneath.

Her lips curved in a feminine smile, Buffy looked down at him with a heated gaze. He held her hips as she guided herself onto his erection. As he filled her, they both gasped. Buffy closed her eyes and moaned. She felt complete, whole; maybe only temporarily, but she’d take what she could get.

Buffy slowly started to pump her hips as she smiled wickedly down at Giles. Deliberately, she began unbuttoning her shirt from the bottom up. When she was half done, Giles slid his hands up and cupped her breasts in his hands. She moaned as he gently massaged them.

The shirt soon came off, revealing two of the most perfect breasts Giles had ever seen. He pulled her down to him and kissed her deeply, the rough feel of the hair on his chest teasing her already hardened nipples mercilessly.

As their mouths fused together, Giles pulled her legs up, opening her up more for him to move even deeper inside her. As their passion grew, Buffy sat up, leaning back against his bent legs as she threw back her head and moaned.

The sight of her swaying breasts proved too tempting for Giles and he sat up, capturing a nipple between his teeth. He gently bit it and Buffy moaned again, more loudly. As he moved to the other breast he could tell she was close, as was he.

He moved his lips back to her mouth, kissing her with all he had as he wrapped his arms around her and gripped her to him tightly, thrusting as deeply inside her as he could get.

She came, shouting his name and shaking violently. Her vaginal muscles milked him as he exploded inside her, repeating her name over and over in a low mantra.

Giles lay back on the bed, pulling her with him. He kissed her forehead as he stroked her back.

"Giles?"

"Hmm?" He asked, a bit afraid she’d tell him she regretted what they’d just done.

"Stay with me?"

He smiled. "Always."

She turned her head up to kiss him on the lips once more before settling it against his chest. They both soon fell asleep, wrapped in each other’s arms.

Together, they could make it. They had always been a force to be reckoned with, but now they were even closer.

And things would never be the same again.

SUMMARY: Sequel to "Comfort" which can be found at http://members.tripod.com/angelvamp/pamela.htm. Giles makes a discovery that could ruin his relationship with Buffy. Will he tell her?

DISCLAIMER: I don’t own them. Joss, WB, Fox, Mutant Enemy, and a buttload of other people that aren’t me do.

NOTES: Thanks to Mel for proofing this and resending it to me after my stupid email that I used to use has been down for 2 and a half days and counting!

Giles reread the pages of the book that lay before him. He couldn’t believe it. After all they had gone through, and the answer had been right there the whole time.

He took off his glasses and wiped the lenses with a handkerchief. He was torn; on one hand, keeping this information from Buffy would keep her with him. The past few weeks of his life had been the best; despite the fact that they could be exact opposites when it came to certain things, they enjoyed living with each other. He loved being with her, and it wasn’t just for the sex. He loved her.

Which made him feel as though he had to tell her.

He sighed and tried to weigh out the reasons for and against showing her his discovery. When she walked into the apartment they now both lived in after her patrol, he knew the answer. Seeing that face, so full of trust, he couldn’t lie to her. As much as he feared it, he had to tell her.

"Hey Giles, what’s up?"

"Buffy." He replied, smiling wanly. "Could you come sit with me? I have something to tell you."

Concerned, she moved to the spot next to him on the couch, and placed her hand on his thigh. Giles closed his eyes and bit his lip, trying to restrain himself from pulling her into his lap and kissing her until he forgot all about the spell.

But he couldn’t do that. He had to tell her; otherwise the guilt would eat away at him, and destroy whatever relationship they might have.

"I found this spell." He told her, gesturing to the open pages of the book.

She glanced at it, but didn’t pay it much attention, since it was in Latin. "What does it do?"

"It makes a soul permanent."

All the color drained from Buffy’s face, her hand remained on his thigh, but Giles suspected it was because she was frozen in shock.

"Wha-what do we do?" She asked him, her eyes imploring him to make the situation magically simpler.

Giles took a deep breath and told her. "I’m not going to tell you what to do, Buffy, but I do feel we’re obligated to, at the very least, let Angel know that there is a way."

Buffy nodded slowly. "And then what?"

"And then…. You two will probably have some talking to do. And I want you to know that I will always be here for you, in any way that you want me. I do understand that you love Angel, I accept that. Whatever decision you make, I will always love you and support you."

Buffy smiled sadly and hugged him tightly. "Thank you Giles!"

* * *

Giles lay in the dark of his bedroom, gazing at the blonde beauty whose head lay on his chest. He could feel her smiling, and Giles took relief in that. He hated seeing her suffer.

The two of them had lain together in front of the fireplace, as they often did. After a long talk, they’d decided they would leave for LA the next day so that Buffy could talk to Angel.

He hadn’t planned on making any romantic gestures towards her, so that her judgement would be clear, but she had started kissing him. Buffy knew that when it came to Giles, whatever she wanted, she got. Their lovemaking had been passion-filled; he was so needy for her that the pleasure of every touch was heightened.

After they had both climaxed, Buffy had whispered that she loved him before drifting off to sleep.

Did she? Giles believed that she believed that she loved him, but did she really? He supposed that she must; she did know what love was better than most people. But he also knew she loved Angel. He’d never believed it before, but he then realized that it was possible to love two people.

Buffy loved both males, although she most likely loved Angel more. Giles knew it was probable that she’d end up leaving him for her first love; he’d have to deal with it. But he loved her so much.

He shook his head, why would she choose him over Angel?

* * *

Buffy took a deep breath, then knocked on the door.

She’d called Cordelia at her new job as a receptionist at a detective agency that morning as soon as she and Giles had checked into their hotel. The two girls had gone for lunch together; Buffy couldn’t help but marvel at the changes in her one time enemy. As hard as it must have been for her, losing her fortune had made Cordelia a better person.

The brunette had given her Angel’s address, along with a hug, after hearing why Buffy needed to speak with the vampire.

So Buffy stood at the door to his new apartment, half an hour before sunset, ready to give him the news.

"Buffy." He said quietly, surprised to see the blonde standing before him.

"Hey." She answered, smiling nervously.

He moved to the side, allowing her to enter his apartment. She glanced around, noting that while it was small, it had a lot of space to move around in, with a few paintings on the wall and only the essential furniture.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

She turned and looked at him, biting her lip nervously. "I have something to show you. It’s really important, that’s why Cordelia told me where you live. Can we… sit down?"

Angel nodded and led her to a small couch. They sat down, with a space between them. Buffy turned as much as she could to face him.

"Giles, he, uh, he found a spell. We can make your soul permanent."

Angel’s eyes widened. "Are you sure?"

Buffy nodded. "Even if you don’t want to… be with me, I still want you to do this."

Angel gently touched the side of her face. "Of course I want to be with you, I just think you could do better."

The guilt overwhelmed Buffy as she closed her eyes. Tears leaked from the corners of her eyes and Angel’s brow furrowed in concern.

"What’s wrong Buffy?"

Buffy looked down, wiping the tears from her eyes. "You’re going to hate me."

"I could never hate you." He replied, shaking his head fervently.

Buffy opened her mouth to tell him, but couldn’t find her voice.

Angel clasped her hand in his own. "Whatever it is, you can tell me. I’ll understand."

"I’ve been sleeping with Giles." She blurted out, before she could get scared and change her mind.

Angel was taken aback, but didn’t release her hand. Buffy sat still, staring at him as she waited for his reaction.

"Do you love him?"

Buffy bit her lip and thought about the question. "Yes, I do love Giles. But it’s not anything like the love I have for you."

Angel nodded slowly and stared at the wall, apparently deep in thought.

After a few more moments of silence, Buffy asked "So, do you hate me?"

Angel looked over at her and shook his head. "I could never hate you." He repeated. "I wanted you to be with a normal guy… and you did."

"We have an… unusual… relationship. It’s not dating and romance, but it’s not just about having sex; we… comfort each other."

"At least this guy’s a lot closer to your age." Angel replied, making a feeble attempt at a joke.

Buffy smiled weakly, her hopes dashed. Angel probably really didn’t want her anymore; he was either sick of her, or maybe disgusted by her.

"Giles is at our hotel, we’re supposed to go back there so he can perform the spell."

Angel nodded. "Why didn’t he come with you?"

"He wanted us to have time alone. He… he told me that he’ll understand if I want to be with you now." She told him, looking down. "I tried to tell him you don’t want me anymore and that’s the problem, but you know Giles. He can’t believe that he’s ever wrong."

Angel moved back over to her, lifting her chin to force her to look into his eyes. "I could never not want you Buffy! I just don’t want to force you to feel obligated to be with me, when you could have the normal life with Giles."

Buffy raised an eyebrow; "Giles is old enough to be my dad. Now, that doesn’t bug him, or me but it will bug a lot of other people. We can’t be normal."

"But he can give you children, he can go into the sun with you."

"That’s not all there is to do, you know."

Angel sighed, "Why don’t we just go back to your hotel, maybe the three of us can discuss things?"

SUMMARY: Sequel to Honesty (which was the sequel to Comfort). Buffy makes her choice.

DISCLAIMER: I don’t own them. Everyone who isn’t me does, I’m pretty sure.

Buffy held Angel’s hand as he lay on the bed in the hotel. The spell had caused him great pain and temporarily sapped his strength. Giles busied himself by wandering about reading books as Buffy sat on the edge of the bed, nursing Angel back to health.

He pretended to be engrossed in a tome about the history of sea serpents as he spied on the slayer and vampire. He tried to force his heart not to ache as he saw the way she looked down at him, so full of love. He’d known all along that she loved Angel that she always would; he just wished she could bestow some of that love upon him.

Buffy had insisted that she stay with Angel through the night, and Giles didn’t feel right insisting that she sleep in his bed with him. He covered the two sleeping forms on the bed in Buffy’s room with a blanket before walking through the adjoining door to his own room.

* * *

The most beautiful sight in the world greeted Giles when he awoke.

Buffy sat on the edge of his bed, smiling down at him.

"Morning." She greeted, smiling peacefully at him.

Giles noted that she looked more relaxed than she had in months. Angel was so good for her; he’d forgotten that. "Good morning, Angel is doing well, I trust?"

Buffy nodded. "He’s actually sleeping, but he was awake a while ago and he was feeling a lot better."

She leaned over and gave him a kiss on the lips before lying down beside him on the bed. "I guess you want to know if I’ve decided anything."

"Well, uh, I suppose you need a lot of time. I want you to-to-to take all the time you need."

Buffy smiled and found his hand with her own. Squeezing it gently, she told him "You’re so sweet. I love that about you, how you always reassure me, even when I don’t deserve it. There’s so much I love about you. So much I love about Angel. Some things you can give me that he can’t, and vice versa."

Giles pulled their hands up to his mouth and kissed the back of hers. "Take your time, Buffy. You don’t have to decide right now. Why don’t you get some more rest, you’ve had a stressful few days."

He kissed her softly on the forehead before getting up and heading for the shower. When he came out of the bathroom, she was sleeping peacefully.

* * *

"Well…" Angel started, then forgot whatever he had been planning to say.

The air was heavy with tension. The three of them had gone down to a restaurant in the hotel when the sun had gone down.

"Okay, this is ultimately Buffy’s decision, right? Because you and I both want to be with her?" Angel asked Giles.

Giles nodded. "And we both will support Buffy with whatever choice she makes."

"Um, hello? Buffy is right here." Buffy interrupted.

Both males smiled apologetically.

"Anyway, what I meant is that it is your decision, but maybe we should…. help you." Angel explained.

Buffy blushed and whispered. "You want me to have sex with you both?"

Giles blushed as Angel chuckled. "Well, that’s not what I meant, but if you want to, that’s fine by me."

"Angel!" Buffy scolded.

"Actually, I do have a bit of a proposition, but I’m not sure either of you would like it." Angel replied.

"Well, I’m sure we wouldn’t mind hearing it." Giles told him.

"Okay, well, it seems that the problem is you love us both. Maybe not equally or in the same ways, but she still doesn’t want to hurt us. And we both have different things to offer her, but if she picks one of us she will miss out on something that the other could give her. It’s like, if you put the two of us together, you would have your perfect man, so…"

"Are you going where I think you’re going with this?" Giles interrupted.

"Where is he going with this?" Buffy asked.

"I’m saying that, it would be okay with me but maybe not Giles, if you wanted both of us." Angel explained. "We could share you."

Buffy’s jaw dropped. She had never even considered the possibility.

Giles was quiet for a moment then looked at the other two and nodded. "I could do that if that is what you wanted, Buffy."

"You mean, I would have two… boyfriend’s, or whatever?"

"Yes…. I know it’s unusual, but you’re unusual, like you said. As a slayer… maybe one man isn’t enough. It takes the two of us to protect you, to give you children, to give you all the love you deserve, to hopefully give you a long life of happiness." Angel said.

Buffy took a deep breath and let the idea sink in. After a moment, she finally answered them. "It actually sounds like a good idea, I’m willing to try it if you guys are."

* * *

"You sure you want to do this, Buffy?" Angel asked, gently stroking his fingers up and down Buffy’s shoulder as they sat together on the king size bed in Buffy’s hotel room. She smiled, nodding unwaveringly.

Giles sat down on the other side of her on the bed, planting a soft kiss on her other shoulder. Buffy turned her head and kissed him passionately, their tongues stroking each other. As the watcher and slayer kissed, Angel worked on unbuttoning Buffy’s blouse, pulling the two halves apart to admire the beauty of her white lace clad breasts. The two men pulled the blouse off of her and Buffy lay back on the bed, allowing Giles to slide her skirt down her legs as Angel stood and started to undress himself. Giles started to do the same as a naked, and very evidently aroused Angel, lay down next to Buffy.

He kissed her deeply, his hand idly running up and down the side of her body. Smoothly, he slid his hands beneath her and unfastened her bra. Giles soon joined them on the bed and the two men began to suckle on her nipples, causing Buffy to arch up into their mouths.

Giles smiled and moved his mouth up to hers, kissing her carnally once again as Angel moved his mouth lower on her body. He hooked his fingers in the waistband of her panties and slid them down her tan legs. He spread her thighs and started to move between them.

"Have you ever tasted her?" Giles asked, his voice heavy with desire.

"Once, a long time ago. Too long." Angel replied a devious smile on his face. "Is she still sweet?"

"As honey." Giles replied, looking Buffy in the eye with a burning desire.

"Do me a favor, Giles, and hold her still."

Giles obeyed grabbing Buffy’s wrists and holding them above her head as he kissed her deeply once more. They all knew she could easily overpower him, but the idea of being restrained turned her on.

Angel spread her swollen lips apart and licked her from bottom to top. Buffy screamed in pleasure. He explored her with his tongue, carefully avoiding her throbbing nubbin. Giles continued to hold her hands above her head as Angel teased her mercilessly.

Buffy wriggled her hips in small circles, trying to force Angel to touch her where she needed it as Giles moved back to her breasts, licking and gently biting at one nipple, while he rolled the other between his fingers.

"Oh God! Please, make me come! Please…. please?" Buffy begged.

After hearing what he wanted, Angel moved his tongue up to her clit, carefully applying pressure. Buffy came with a shout, bouncing up and down on the bed. The two men moved positions as the blonde lay on the bed, recovering.

Angel lay next to her and looked at her with expectation. Smiling, she moved over him, straddling his waist and moving her mouth to his, tasting herself on his tongue. He placed his hands on her hips and guided her onto his straining erection. As she sank onto him, they both sighed in pleasure.

She felt Giles behind her, pushing her so that she was bent over as Angel moved slowly in and out of her. She kissed her vampiric lover as Giles generously spread Vaseline over his own erection, preparing himself for entry in her virgin ass.

Angel held Buffy tightly to him as Giles slid inside her tight anus. He moved slowly, careful not to hurt her. When he was fully embedded inside her, he sighed, relishing the tightness and heat that surrounded him.

He slid part of the way out, slowly sliding back in. Angel started to move faster, as did Giles.

Soon Buffy was writhing on the bed, sandwiched between the two men as they both thrust in and out of her body. She had never felt so whole, so complete, so loved, in all her life.

She came loudly, shouting both their names as she shook roughly. Her passages squeezed both the men, causing them to come as well.

The three of them lay on the bed, their sweaty bodies spent. As the other two caught their breath, Angel looked at Buffy and quietly asked, "Are you all right?"

Buffy smiled. "I’m more than all right." She kissed him softly on the lips, then turned to Giles and did the same.

"Why don’t we all get some rest? We have that drive back to Sunnydale tomorrow night." Giles suggested.

Buffy nodded, yawning. Giles and Angel turned the bedside lamps off, then settled into the bed. Buffy gave them both one more heated kiss each, before curling up in a spooned position against Giles with her head in the crook of Angel’s neck.

And they all fell asleep content at last.

Giles moved briskly about his new office at UC Sunnydale. He’d been teaching a class on the History of the Occult for nearly a month and the experience had been refreshing. After three years as a high school librarian, he’d given up all hope for the youth of America, but his students had surprised him. After the Sunnydale High School graduation, he seemed to have developed an unspoken reputation, and many of his slayer’s former classmates had enrolled in his classes.

The slayer herself had enrolled in his class that met on Monday and Wednesday mornings. He smiled as her remembered one particular Monday, when, in the midst of a lecture about the Salem Witch Trials and Buffy had made a point to give him the sexiest, most feminine smiles whenever he looked her way. When she’d seen she could make him flustered, she’d begun licking her lips slowly.

She’d missed her next class that morning, due to an "important meeting" with her professor.

"Good afternoon, Professor Giles." Buffy teased as she entered his office. She made sure to lock the door behind her before walking over to her lover and kissing him.

He pulled her tight against him, kissing her fiercely with a never-ending passion. "How was your day?"

"I’ve been looking forward to tonight all day long. Time went by so slowly." She told him as she snaked her hand between them to caress his groin.

"You can’t wait for our date?" Giles asked, gasping as the pleasure built inside him, culminating in his groin as she gently stroked and squeezed him.

"Noooo.." she replied moaning as Giles placed his hand on her buttocks and pulled her tight against him.

They moved so that Buffy sat on the edge of Giles’ desk, pulling her skirt up so that it bunched around her waist. Giles swiftly yanked her panties off as she unbuttoned and unzipped his trousers. He lifted her legs and guided her to wrap them around his waist as he slid inside her slippery channel, his tongue entering her mouth simultaneously.

He slammed into her at a fast and furious pace; both of them felt a great need for climax. It was a Friday and Friday nights were always their date nights. They looked forward to their date nights immensely and it often got them so worked up that they had to seek release from their sexual frustration on Friday afternoons.

Once they had both climaxed, they straightened their clothing and left the school swiftly. When they got back to the home the three of them had recently moved into, it was still early afternoon. Giles decided to grade some papers for Monday- Buffy tended to keep him busy on the weekends- while Buffy went to ‘nap’.

Giles shook his head, knowing she would indeed be joining Angel in bed, but it was unlikely they’d be sleeping. The girl had perpetual energy and potential for arousal.

Giles knew her well. Buffy smiled as she entered the bedroom and found her dark haired lover sleeping peacefully in the bed, nude, just as she’d left him that morning. Slipping out of her clothes, she climbed into bed and curled up against him.

Just as she’d hoped, Angel roused out of sleep and smiled at her. "Hey."

"Hi there." She purred.

"Were you a good girl today?"

Buffy giggled. "Nope, I was very bad. Giles and I couldn’t wait for tonight again."

Angel pretended to be admonishing. "I think I’d die of shock if you two ever could wait all day Friday- immortality or not."

Buffy laughed as she straddled his waist, stroking his erection slowly. "What can I say? I’m hopeless."

She slid him inside her and they both moaned. Placing her hands on his shoulders, she began to rise and lower herself on him as his hips bucked under her. Angel reached up and grabbed one of her erect nipples between his teeth, nibbling and suckling it and driving Buffy crazy.

She moaned his name over and over as she came, her tight vaginal walls squeezing his manhood as it slid in and out of her quaking body. As she came down from her high, Angel flipped them over, wrapping her legs around him as he slid more deeply inside her. Buffy pulled his head down so that they could kiss.

Angel knew he was near orgasm, but he wanted Buffy to come with him, so he moved a hand between them, stroking her swollen nubbin. Screaming his name, she came simultaneously with Angel as he filled her with his cold seed.

Lying in each other’s arms, their bodies glistened with sweat, they drifted off to sleep.

Buffy felt Giles incessantly shaking her shoulder to wake her.

"Five more minutes, Giles, I’ll still be on time for school!" She pleased, half-asleep.

"Well, if you really *want* to go to school, I suppose you could… but Angel and I had really been hoping you’d want to go on our date." Giles teased.

Buffy rolled over, the think black sheets on the bed barely covering her. "Oh yeah." She smiled.

Giles bent and kissed her tenderly, pulling back before they got preoccupied.

Yawning, Buffy realized that they were alone in the room. "Where’s Angel?"

"Showering. So hurry up and get ready so that we can go." He ordered.

"Yes sir." She giggled, making a big show out of getting out of the bed and wiggling her nude bottom for him.

"Use YOUR bathroom!" He commanded. "Heaven knows if I send you in there with Angel, we’d never leave!"

Buffy sighed dramatically before heading over to her room so she could use her own bathroom. Giles moved swiftly down the stairs. If he could finish grading the papers he had to hand out on Monday before they went out, he could focus all his attention on his young blonde lover for the rest of the weekend.

"This is nice." Buffy smiled at her two lovers from her seat between them in the dim restaurant.

"I knew you’d like it." Angel replied, leaning over to give her a quick kiss.

Buffy put her hands beneath the table and ran them over the two male’s thighs. Giles was glad they’d gotten a booth in the corner, tucked away from the rest of the restaurant. The three of them tried to be somewhat covert. Sunnydale might be built on a Hellmouth, but it was still a small town and two grown men having an affair with an eighteen year old girl would be quite the scandal; which could result in Giles losing his position at UCS. The only other person who knew about them was Willow, and they even tried to remain discreet around her.

As Buffy continued to stroke both their thighs, Giles attempted to read the menu and didn’t see Angel lean over and whisper in Buffy’s ear. So when she moved her hand to Giles’ crotch, it took him wholly by surprise. He jumped, his knees hitting the bottom of the table with a loud noise.

Buffy and Angel found it incredibly amusing and laughed as Giles smiled nervously at a few people who had heard the racket and looked to see what was going on.

"NOT funny, you two." Giles practically growled.

"Aww…" Buffy pretended to pout, before scooting over to Giles and kissing him softly on the lips. He pulled her tighter against him and delved his tongue into her mouth. He loved the playfulness of their dates almost as much as she did.

"Ahem."

The lovers pulled apart and found their unamused waiter standing beside the table, waiting impatiently for their order.

Giles cleared his throat and pulled away from Buffy sheepishly. Buffy smiled conspiratorially at Angel, who mirrored the expression. After they placed their orders, Buffy scooted back towards Giles to tease him again, but he excused himself to the restroom.

Sighing, Buffy slid over to her other, more willful lover and began kissing him. The two soon became far too enthralled by each other to notice the goings on in the restaurant around them.

"Buffy?"

They pulled apart and found Xander standing in front of the table, staring open mouthed at the two of them.

"Uh… Hi Xander." Buffy sputtered, relieved that she’d been caught kissing Angel, and not Giles. As it was, she’d have a lot of explaining to do.

"I thought Deadboy went to LA." Xander replied, obviously irritated.

"I’m back." Angel replied in an equally cold voice.

Buffy smiled nervously. "His soul’s permanent."

"How lovely for the two of you." Xander responded insincerely.

Buffy chose to ignore that and continued to smile. "Yeah, we’re really doing great… How did you get back from your trip so soon?"

Xander tried to not scream at his friend, and instead calmly answered her. "I didn’t go all over the country like I planned. When I was in Texas I came to a realization for what I would like to do with my life. I’m joining the Army."

A genuine smile lit Buffy’s face. "Oh that is so great Xander! I couldn’t think of a more perfect job for you."

Seeing her so happy for him softened Xander a bit. Then he remembered something that had haunted him for nearly a year and a half. The sunny morning when he’d lied to her out of jealousy, wanting her to love him like she did the soulful vampire seated beside her. He supposed after all they had gone through to be together, he shouldn’t even try to stand in their way now.

"What are you doing here? It doesn’t seem like your kind of place to hang Xander." Buffy continued to make conversation as Angel and Xander gave each other dirty looks.

"My grandmother came to visit. She’s taking us to dinner."

"Oh, wow, well, we’ll have to get together before you go. Maybe with Willow? We can go get ice cream or something."

"Yeah… we will." Xander agreed, not really listening. "So, you two here on a date?"

"Oh… not really." Buffy lied. "We’re here with Giles, actually. He’s in the restroom."

"Oh." Xander was surprised. For some reason, knowing that the watcher was there made him feel more comfortable.

Little did he know that Giles was doing the very thing with Buffy that Xander wanted him to prevent her doing with Angel.

Giles came out of the bathroom and walked swiftly back to their table. Unfortunately, by the time he noticed Xander there, he was too late to evade the teen. He sat down and invited Xander to sit with them, much to Angel’s chagrin.

Luckily, the boy had to get back to his family at their own table, leaving after promising Buffy that they would get together before he left.

They ate their meals without any kissing or groping, as Giles insisted. The waiter had seen her kiss Giles and Xander had seen her kiss Angel. If either were to walk by and catch her with the man they hadn’t seen her with before…. People could talk…. And in Xander’s case, explode.

"Can we go to the beach?" Buffy smiled as they walked out of the restaurant.

"Sounds good to me." Angel replied, returning the smile.

Buffy gave Giles a pleading look. Sighing, he nodded. "If that’s what you really want. I just don’t see the pleasure."

Buffy grinned and hugged him. "It can be fun. Just the three of us.. the deserted dark beach…. Water… sand… it all adds up to lots of fun!"

Giles have in and smiled back at her, allowing her to kiss him quickly on the lips before the three of them headed to the car.

Back inside the restaurant, Xander Harris sat in disbelief, having just glanced out the window and seeing one of his best friends in the world… his dream girl… kiss the former school librarian the same night that she’d kissed her boyfriend… who had been standing right there and seen the whole thing.

Buffy was….. with…. both of them?

* * *

Giles sat on the sand dune, enjoying the cool night breeze that drifted the unique aroma of the ocean to him. In the distance he could hear Buffy. A few moments earlier, she’d been laughing, but now there were different sounds of pleasure coming from her, and he had no doubt why. She and Angel had stripped and chased each other through the sand and shallow waters, playing adolescently.

And now they were being more adult.

It surprised Giles how much it *didn’t* bother him when Buffy was with Angel. He was positive that if she were to sleep with any male besides the two of them, he’d be heartbroken. He supposed it was because he knew she loved him, and that she loved Angel…. And had more than enough love for the both of them.

Closing his eyes, Giles smiled as he thought up scenarios for what he and Buffy might do when they went home that night. So engrossed in his fantasies, he didn’t notice that Angel and Buffy had called each other’s names as they exploded in ecstasy.

In fact, he was only shaken out of his reverie when a soaking wet slayer knelt beside him and began kissing his neck.

"Don’t you ever get tired?" Angel asked, laughing as he pulled his pants on.

"I have to have both my men satisfied." Buffy grinned as she worked on unbuttoning Giles’ shirt.

Giles pulled his jacket off and helped her undress him. When he was just as naked as she was, they rolled on the blanket they’d laid out when they got there so that Giles was on top. Buffy wrapped her legs around his waist as he slid inside her and moaned. Angel headed down to the shore, wading in the shallow waters to give them a bit of privacy. Unless all three of them were involved, they tried to give each other space.

Angel gazed out at the rippling waters, lit only by the glow of the moon. It was a beautiful sight. He and Buffy had watched for a few moments before walking back to Giles. Angel had the memory of her face with the bluish light reflected on it imprinted in his mind. She was the most beautiful creature he’d ever seen.

"Are you ready to head home?" Giles asked, as he walked over to him, fully dressed.

Angel nodded and looked up at Buffy. She was lying on the blanket, still completely undressed.

"She’s asleep." Giles answered Angel’s silent question.

Angel wrapped Buffy up in the blanket as Giles gathered her clothes. They drove home quietly, with a still sleeping Buffy curled in Angel’s lap.

Once home, the men bid each other good-night and Angel walked to Buffy’s room to put her in her own bed. She slept there on occasion, but she usually slept with one of her lovers. As he covered her with her own blankets, Buffy awoke.

"Angel… stay with me?"

Angel smiled, before he pulled off his clothes and climbed into bed next to her. Buffy curled up against him, using his chest as a pillow. Angel stroked her soft hair and smiled. He’d do anything to never give her up.

"Hey Xander!" Buffy greeted as she walked into the café and hugged her friend.

Xander forced himself to smile; he had to go along with the plan if he was ever going to be able to stop his friend from being the sex toy of two perverts.

"How’s it going?"

"Oh, pretty good. I’m doing well in college… the teachers are a lot cooler than in high school."

"I bet." Xander replied, as they took their seats at a table. "So… you’re still living Giles?"

"Yeah… it’s working out very well for us." Buffy answered, choosing her words carefully.

"But you two aren’t in Giles’ apartment anymore?"

"No… it only had one bedroom so it was kind of pain with the whole sleeping-on-the-couch thing. Giles bought a house."

"And you live together…"

"Well, lots of slayers live with their watchers."

Xander nodded. "Okay…. But how does Angel feel about that?"

"He.. doesn’t mind… why would he mind?"

"Oh, I just know I wouldn’t like it if my girlfriend lived with another guy."

"Well, he’s *Giles*! Angel knows that!" Buffy explained, not liking where this was going. Xander had never before thought that her relationship with Giles was inappropriate.

"Buffy…" Xander sighed. "I hate it when you lie to me."

"I’m not lying to you! What would I lie about?"

"Explain to me why when I looked out the window of the restaurant last Friday night I saw you kiss Giles."

Buffy’s jaw dropped. "You saw that?"

Xander nodded. "And I also saw that Angel was right there… and he knows that you and Giles have something going.. and I know you and Angel still have something going."

Buffy looked down and swallowed, trying to calm down. At least Xander wasn’t screaming.

"Buffy… you have to get away from them. They’re treating you like a piece of meat."

Buffy shook her head fervently. "No, they don’t! They love me, and I love them!"

"Buffy, this is sick."

Buffy felt tears begin to burn in her eyes. "Xander, you don’t understand. I never would have dreamed I’d be in a situation like this… but… they make me so happy Xander. And I know it’s hard to believe, but I love them both."

"They’ve brainwashed you! You’re a little plaything for them!"

Buffy shook her head. "You don’t understand, Xander. Please, just be happy for me."

"I want you to pack up your stuff. I didn’t even sign up for the Army yet. You and I can go somewhere. You can go back to your mom. Or your dad in LA. You just have to get away from them."

"No, I don’t want to get away from them. I want to be with them. I’m sorry if you can’t accept that, but this is the first time I’ve been truly happy and I’m not giving it up." Buffy told him as she stood up from the table. "I can’t stay here. I want you to change your mind, Xander. And if you ever do you can reach me through Willow."

And with that, she rushed out of the café, leaving behind a displeased Xander. He’d have to try this from a different perspective.

* * *

"Do you think he’ll ever approve of us?" Buffy asked Willow as she wiped the tears from her eyes with a tissue her friend had handed her.

"Buffy, as much as I hate to say it, screw him. If he’s too blind to see that you’re happy, he’s not a true friend." Willow replied and softly patted Buffy’s back as they sat on the edge of Willow’s bed in her dorm room at UC Sunnydale. Willow had been lucky enough to get her own room, which worked out well since most roommates would be curious about Willow’s best friend’s vampire slayage and Willow’s witchcraft.

"I know, I guess I should, it’s just…. You and Xander were my first real friends ever and I don’t ever want to give that up."

"I know… Xander’s just not the same guy he was back then. I don’t know how it happened, but he’s changed. And you never know he probably needs to get used to the idea. If you remember, when you came back from LA and told me that Angel and Giles were going to ‘share’ you… I wigged."

"Yeah, but you said if that is what I wanted, you’d deal."

"Well, I’m female. Xander is a *male* after all. We’re the superior race."

Buffy couldn’t help but smile. Maybe it wasn’t so bad after all.

* * *

"Hey Giles…. Where’s Buffy?" Angel asked as Giles came into the living room. The sun was still setting, but the house was thoroughly sun-proofed.

"Remember, she was going to meet Xander for one of those… coffee drinks….?" Giles replied.

"Oh, that’s right." Angel answered, turning back to the TV.

A loud pounding on the door soon startled them. They looked at each other with concern, they moved to the door. Angel hung back to avoid the sun as Giles opened the door. He found a panicked-looking Xander.

"Xander, what’s wrong? Is it Buffy?" Angel asked.

Xander stepped inside and Giles shut the door so Angel wouldn’t have to worry about turning into dust.

"Yes, I’m here because of Buffy. She needs help." Xander replied coldly.

"Oh no, what is it?" Giles asked, his voice full of fear.

"It’s you. The both of you."

"Us?" Angel asked, confused.

"I know about this little… ‘arrangement’ you three have. I can understand Buffy, she’s young, a bit naïve, and she honestly believes that you both love her. But I know the truth. You two are perverts. You’ve brainwashed her!"

"We have not! We’d never do anything to force Buffy to do anything she didn’t want to do." Giles argued.

"You two are really some pieces of work. She’s *eighteen*; for her to be with either of you is completely wrong. How can you possibly think it’s right for you guys to be doing this?"

"Xander, I’m sorry that you don’t agree with this, but it’s not really your business. Buffy is happy, Giles is happy, and I am happy. We aren’t hurting anybody. If you don’t like it… tough." Angel replied.

"No." Xander replied, shaking his head. "I’m packing up a few of Buffy’s things and I’m going to find her and get her to come with me. A few days away from you two and she’ll come to her senses."

"I’m not going anywhere."

The three males looked over by the kitchen door. Buffy had entered the house through the kitchen and stood with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Buffy, please try to be rational!" Xander argued.

"I am being rational, Xander. This is *my* life and I would love for you to be my friend, but if you’re going to do this, forget it! Now I think you’d better leave." She answered angrily before turning and going towards the living room in the back of the house.

Sighing in defeat, Xander turned and left. Angel and Giles walked slowly into the living room to find Buffy sitting sadly in the middle of the couch. They each sat on either side of her, making sure to give her some space. They sat in silence for several moments before Buffy spoke.

"I don’t feel like you guys brainwashed me. I have never, ever, for a second, regretted the three of us. The past few months have been perfect. I just wish Xander could see that."

"I’m so sorry he can’t, Buffy." Giles softly replied.

Buffy leaned over and hugged him, then did the same with Angel. "I love you two so much."

* * *

"How are you feeling?" Giles asked as he and Buffy settled down in his bed that night.

Buffy fidgeted with the hem of her tank top. "I’m all right. I actually feel a lot better than when I left Xander in the café this afternoon. I just hate losing friends."

"I know." Giles replied as he pulled her on top of him, kissing the top of her head.

"I do feel a little more ‘out’ now, though." Buffy smiled.

"Out?"

"Yeah… I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders…. Only I didn’t know the weight was there."

As they drifted off to sleep, Giles’ mind drifted to fact that Xander now had something to hang over his head. If the school’s board of trustees ever found out that he was having sexual relations with a student he’d be ruined.
