Part 1

Buffy levitated Angelus to her penthouse that she had acquired from a rather rude gentleman that she scared into handing over the deeds. Of course she killed him after that; she just wanted to please her angel. Buffy laid him down on the bed she conjured up along with the rest of the furniture. She was getting a little worried about him, because he should be awake by now. “Oh well,” she thought, “I'll just have to get the house ready for my angel”.

Buffy started thinking about how they were going to destroy and bring chaos to their friends, families, and most importantly, the world. First, she had to take care of Cordelia. “Higher being my ass,” she thought. “The only reason she kept the visions and became a half demon was only because she wanted to secure her position as the leader of Angel Investigations. Cordelia is probably thinking that she is more powerful than me. I'll show her.”

“She has no idea what I am or where my powers and essence comes from. They came from much more powerful sources than the Powers; they came from a power that has been here since the dawn of time, the First Evil. The First Evil is every drop of darkness and hate, the purest form of evil ever existed. She was the source of my powers, until I bounded them to myself, making them mine. Everyone was terribly shocked when they saw a small example of it.”

“I remember the first time the gang found out about my powers,” she thought.

"What the bloody hell were you thinking messing with black magic?" Giles bellowed. He hadn't thought that Buffy would be so bleedin' careless about the forces of nature.

“He's right Buffy. You shouldn't have been playing with forces you aren't ready for,” Willow stated. She had no idea that Buffy had knowledge of witchcraft, let alone the Black Arts. Truth be told, it kind of scares her that her best friend has much more power than she had ever had, even after Tara died.

“You're bloody right, I'm right. She should have never toyed with forces she wasn't even ready for!” Giles ranted. He was so angry at his charge right now. She was so careless.

“How the hell did you get that powerful anyway? That sort of magic takes years to develop. You couldn't have started but for a few months. It's magically impossible for anyone to be that powerful, regardless if you sucked out someone else’s powers."

“When Willow let go of her dark powers, they had to go somewhere. When she banished the magic from her body, it can't just wander around. It needs a vessel, and since I'm the only one who has a chance of harnessing that kind of power, it went to me,” Buffy explained angrily. She was not a fucking child. So the spell was a little dangerous, but still, they should trust her.

“You still haven't been trained to use magic. You are nothing but a rank, arrogant, amateur!” Giles shouted. She had been messing with forces she wasn't ready for. That could get them all killed.

“You know what? If you don't shut the fuck up right now, I will send you to a place that makes Tarturus look like the Ellesion Fields. I call it hell!” Buffy threatened. “You think you could do a better job than fine! See how well you can manage without the Slayer. You know why, because I quit.”

Buffy ran out the door leaving a speechless Willow and Giles behind her. //

Buffy looked at the window. She looked at Sunnydale's direction and said, “You called me a rank, arrogant, amateur. Well, buckle up Rupert, because I've turned pro.”
