Born just three minutes prior to his brother, Kelly is the elder twin of Nicholas Brendon, better known to fans as Xander Harris.  Kelly first entered the world of Hollywood behind the scenes as a set dresser, doing work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer as well as other shows.  But his real dream was to act and he realised that dream with a minor appearance on City Guys.  Then the opportunity came for him to appear alongside his brother Nick, as Xander's double in the episode The Replacements.  The producers were sufficiently impressed with kelly's work to call him back to stand in for his brother once again when Nick became to sick to work during filming of the episode Intervention.  Since that time he has regularly appeared on the show as Nick's stunt double.  Kelly has continued his stunt work, most recently for the popular TV series Alias.
