'She's Heartless', 'She uses people', 'She doesn't have feelings'. But by the fourth season, there was simply no excuse for these asumptions. Watching Faith's pattern of evoloution, we see she uses her bad girl rep and Fonzi-like cool to smoke-screen her true immotions. That comes from living in a world where the weak are preyed upon, people can smell fear, and women are only good for one thing. She couldn't wrap her mind around the myth of the valient man. By asking nothing of Faith but loyalty and obedience, Mayor Wilkins (3rd season BtVS) managed to bring out the real her, a damaged girl, looking for someone to depend on- someone that can be trusted."
