Episode 1 (67th in the series)
Deep Down
(Angel is
found.)
Late-September,
2002
- Connor has been living with Fred and Gunn at
the Hyperion all summer.
- Lorne is still in Las Vegas.
- Lilah and Wesley are still having sex.
- Wesley has had Justine chained up in a closet
and been looking for Angel all summer.
- Wesley rescues Angel from the ocean floor and
revives him with his own blood.
- Lilah has Linwood beheaded and takes over as
the new boss.
- Wesley tells Gunn and Fred about Connor's part
in Angel's disappearance.
- Angel tells Connor that he loves him and that
he needs to leave the hotel.
- We see Cordelia as a higher power, bored out
of her mind.
Episode 2 (68th in the series)
Ground State
(Some girls
play well with electricity.)
October, 2002
- AI meets Gwen Rayden, a girl
who conducts electricity by her touch.
- Wesley seems to have set up his own demonic
investigation agency.
- Wesley gives Angel all he has on Cordelia's
disappearance.
- Gwen shocks Gunn so that his heart stops, then
'jump starts' him back to life.
- Gwen shocks Angel, causing his heart to
momentarily beat.
- Using the Axis of Pythia, AI discovers that
Cordelia is a higher power and is resigned to the fact that she's not
coming back.
Episode 3 (69th in the series)
The House Always
Wins
(Road Trip to
Vegas!)
October, 2002
- Lorne has been being held against his will as
a headliner at the Tropicana where he gets people to sing (revealing their
destinies) which are then sold on the black market.
- Angel has his destiny taken from him (and
later restored).
- Lorne comes back to LA with AI.
- AI finds Cordelia standing
in the lobby of the Hyperion with no memory.
Episode 4 (70th in the series)
Slouching Toward
Bethlehem
(Cordy
acclimates to being back in LA)
October, 2002
(directly after ÒThe House Always WinsÓ)
- Cordelia freaks out when the AI team finally
tells her the truth about demons and what she used to do.
- Lorne 'reads' Cordy (who sings ÒThe Greatest
Love of AllÓ), and is seriously terrified by what he sees.
- Wesley admits to Lilah that they are in a 'relationship.'
- Lilah is informed of Cordy's return by someone
at W&H.
- Cordy chooses to stay with Connor because she
trusts him.
- W&H attack Lorne and borough what he knew
about Cordy out of his head.
Episode 5 (71st in the series)
Supersymmetry
(The truth
about FredÕs trip to Pylea.)
November, 2002
- Fred discovers that her former mentor Professor Seidel was the one who sent her to Pylea.
- Wesley agrees to help Fred 'deal' with Prof.
Siedel.
- Connor and Cordelia kiss.
- Fred opens a portal, intending to send Prof.
Siedel through it.
- Prof. Siedel dies. (Gunn snaps his neck and
pushes him into the portal.)
- Cordelia returns to the hotel looking for the
truth: were she and Angel in love?
Episode 6 (72nd in the series)
Spin the Bottle
(Remembering
and Forgetting)
November, 2002
(directly after 'Supersymmetry')
- Lorne tries to use a memory spell that leaves
everyone (except him and Connor) without any memories after their teenage
years.
- Everyone (including Cordelia) gets their
memories back.
- Cordelia has a terrifying vision of a demon.
- Cordelia tells Angel that yes, they had been
in love before they both disappeared.
Episode 7 (73rd in the series)
Apocalypse Nowish
(a.k.a. "Rain of Fire")
(We meet a new
baddie and see something much scarier.)
December, 2002
- Cordelia continues to have visions of an
unknown demon.
- Gunn and Fred fight over him killing Prof.
Siedel
- Cordy tells Angel that she can't love him
anymore because while she was a Higher Power she experienced all he did as
Angelus.
- Unknown demon (aka The Beast) rises from location where Connor was born.
- The Beast called down a rain of fire
- Connor and Cordy have sex (and Angel witnesses)
Episode 8 (74th in the series)
Habeas Corpses
(Evil lawyer
zombies...so what's the difference?)
December, 2002
(immediately after "Apocalypse Nowish")
- Cordy tells Connor no more sex.
- Wesley tells Lilah that they are over; he's
chosen NOT to fight on her side.
- Beast invades W&H; kills everyone and
turns them into zombies (including Gavin)
- "Little girl" in White Room tells AI that "the
answer is among you"
- The Beast "kills" (sucks the energy from) the
little girl in the White Room at W&H
- Cordy realizes that Angel knows that she and
Connor had sex.
Episode 9 (75th in the series)
Long Day's
Journey
(There goes
the sun.)
mid-February, 2003
- Gwen Rayden is back long enough to try to help
out, and then skidattles.
- The beast kills the five totems (god types)
who are linked to the Sun God Ra.
- Angel and Cordy seem to black out, somehow
allowing the Beast to kill the final totem.
- Cordy gets visions of the Beast talking to
someone.
- The Beast blots out the sun in Los Angeles.
- The Beast knows Angel as Angelus
- Wesley deduces they need to 'summon' Angelus
to get the information they need about the Beast.
Episode 10 (76th in the series)
Awakening
(Angel dreams
and Angelus wakes up)
Late February,
2003 (just after "Long Day's Journey")
- Shaman Wo-Pang removes Angel's soul, sealing it in a glass jar
- Angelus returns
- During Angel's dream, he reconciles with
Wesley and Connor, defeats the Beast, and has sex with Cordelia. (but
since it's a dream, it didn't REALLY happen)
Episode 11 (77th in the series)
Soulless
(Angelus plays
mind games with AI)
Late February,
2003 (just after "Awakening")
- Angelus talks to Wesley about seeing Connor
and Cordelia have sex (all of AI now knows)
- Wesley and Fred kiss. Gunn walks in.
- Cordy offers herself to Angelus in exchange
for the info they need; she refuses when his information is no good.
- AI discovers that the container with Angel's
soul is missing.
Episode 12 (78th in the series)
Calvary
(Angelus gets
loose and we start to see who the big bad really is)
Early March, 2003
(just after "Soulless")
- Lilah shows up in the basement to confront
Angelus.
- Gunn and Fred sorta more or less break up.
- Lilah gives Wesley a book with information on
The Beast.
- Cordy gets a vision as to how to return Angel's
soul to Angelus.
- AI does the spell, thinks it works, but really
all they do is let Angelus out of the cage.
- Lilah dies. (killed by Cordelia as Cordy says
that she let Angelus out for a reason.)
Episode 13 (79th in the series)
Salvage
(Wesley brings
in reinforcements.)
Early March,
2003 (immediately after "Calvary")
- Wes and Gunn see Angelus with Lilah's body and
think he killed her.
- Wes beheads Lilah.
- Lorne sets a protection spell over the hotel.
- We see that Cordelia is the Beast's master.
- Wes busts Faith out
of her jail in Stockton, CA and brings her back to Los Angeles.
- Angelus discovers Faith is back.
- Cordy announces to Connor that she's pregnant
with his child.
Episode 14 (80th in the series)
Release
(Angelus v.
Faith)
Early March,
2003 (immediately after "Salvage")
- Cordelia communications telepathically with
Angelus
- Angelus steals the book with the information
on The Beast
- We find out that Cordelia has the container
with Angel's soul.
- Angelus bites Faith.
Episode 15 (81st in the series)
Orpheus
(Faith gets
inside Angelus' head and Willow arrives to help)
Mid March,
2003 (immediately after "Release")
- We discover that Faith drugged herself and
allowed Angelus to bite her so he'd be drugged too.
- Angelus is locked up again at the hotel.
- Willow arrives in response to a phone call from
Fred. (see "Buffy" season 7 episode 17 "Lies My Parents Told Me")
- Willow restores Angel's soul
to him.
- Faith leaves with Willow for Sunnydale.
- Cordelia reveals to everyone that she's
pregnant... VERY pregnant.
Episode 16 (82nd in the series)
Players
(Gwen and Gunn
go out for a night on the town)
Mid March,
2003 (immediately after "Orpheus")
- Connor tells AI he's the father of Cordy's
baby
- Gwen tricks Gunn into helping her steal a
device that lets her touch others without electrocuting them.
- Gwen and Gunn kiss and have sex.
- AI draw Cordelia out, making her reveal she's
NOT on their side.
- Last time we see Gwen.
Episode 17 (83rd in the series)
Inside Out
(The truth
about Cordy is revealed.)
Mid March,
2003 (immediately after "Players")
- Connor saves Cordy from AI's questioning.
- AI figures out that Cordy was responsible for
most of the recent badness.
- Angel asks Skip (Cordy's spirit guide) for
help and finds out he's not a good guy.
- Skip confirms that Cordy is really herself,
just not in control.
- Connor sees visions of his mother Darla (sent by the PTB) Also last time we see Darla.
- Wesley kills Skip (impales him with his own
horn)
- Cordy gives birth to a full grown, beautiful woman.
Episode 18 (84th in the series)
Shiny Happy
People
(We first see
the beauty of world peace.)
Late March,
2003 (Immediately after "Players")
- Mystery beautiful woman seems to bewitch
anyone who sees her.
- Woman is one of the PTBs.
- Fred tries to take a bloodstain from the woman's
shirt and later sees her as a corpse.
- Fred tries to get the others to believe her;
fails and leaves the hotel.
- Woman names herself "Jasmine"
Episode 19 (85th in the series)
The Magic Bullet
(Fred finds
out why she isn't a Jasmine follower.)
Late March,
2003 (Immediately after ÒShiny Happy PeopleÓ and about a week after "Inside Out")
- The Fang Gang tracks Fred, looking to bring
her back to the fold.
- Jasmine can communicate mentally with "her
people."
- Fred realizes that contact with Jasmine's blood
shows people her ÒtrueÓ face.
- Connor discovers that Jasmine "eats" her
followers.
- Fred cures Angel with Jasmine's blood, and
then Lorne, Gunn, and Wes with Cordy's blood.
- Connor doesn't respond to the cure and alerts
Jasmine.
Episode 20 (86th in the series)
Sacrifice
(AI regroups
and looks for a solution in the sewers.)
Late March,
2003 (Immediately after "Magic Bullet")
- Jasmine sends Cordy's body away somewhere "safe."
- Wes discovers creatures from another dimension
who have worshipped Jasmine for millennia.
- Angel jumps into another dimension to find out
Jasmine's true name, which has power over her.
Episode 21 (87th in the series)
Peace Out
(The end of
innocence...or at least world peace.)
Early April,
2003 (Immediately after "Sacrifice")
- Connor and other of Jasmine's followers subdue
AI and bring them back to Jasmine.
- AI discover that Connor sees Jasmine for exactly
what she is...and still follows her.
- Connor finds Cordy's body in a church.
- Angel brings back the Keeper of Jasmine's true
name, which breaks her hold on everyone.
- Connor kills Jasmine (punches clear through
her head)
- The ghost of Lilah
shows up.
Episode 22 (88th in the series)
Home
(AI looks into
taking over W&H)
Early April,
2003
- Lilah is a messenger for the Senior Partners.
- AI is offered the Los Angeles branch of
Wolfram & Hart, which has been rebuilt and is zombie-free, as a reward
for ending world peace.
- Fred meets Knox,
science guy at W&H.
- Lilah gives Angel an amulet that she says will
help "the final battle" in Sunnydale. (see BtVS season 7, episode 22
"Chosen")
- Connor goes postal and holds people (including
Cordy) hostage in a sporting goods store.
- Gunn communicates with a black panther (who
has replaced the little girl) in the White Room.
- Angel stabs Connor.
- Angel (and the others) agree to take over
W&H
- No one remembers Connor. (part of Angel's
agreement)
- Connor has a new, normal life with no memory of his 'real'
life.
- Lilah (presumably) returns to hell.
