Bryan Singer and 20th Century Fox's relationship is now over. The director of the first 2 installments of the X-Men film series won't be directing the 3rd. Now Fox is looking for a replacement. Joss Whedon recently came in 1st place in a cinescape poll asking, "Who should direct X-Men 3?" Let the rumours and speculation begin, folks.

If I were Joss, I wouldn't want to tap into an already successful franchise. That just seems scary. Look at the wonders it did for Joel Schumacher.
