The major one, however, is that Joss wanted to blind us all. A mass sight-loss plan. He wanted to conquer the world by making us blind so that he could come into our houses and steal our snacks without us looking. It didn't quite work, but maybe if it had gone on one more season none of us would have cookies ever again. In regards to your second question, you don't want me. I'm a slob. I'd lay around, eat all your food, use your toilet and then not flush it just for fun. I'd throw my dirty clothes on the floor and leave them there for a month (or until you decided to pick them up).
