 Some small but nice details about Bif Naked
Bif Naked is certainly not her real name, it's Beth Torbert, which changed into Beth Hopkins during her marriage to Brett, the drummer of the Band "Gorilla, Gorilla". Their union lasted only some months: "Even when I was standing there at the altar, I knew I was making a mistake," reflects Bif. "For some reason, I ended up going through with it, but the marriage was seriously over before it even began." As frontwoman for "Gorilla, Gorilla", Bif was a natural. "I thought, this is what I was put on earth to do," she remembers. Nevertheless, the wildness and decadence of life on the road took its toll on young Bif. "The first tour I did, I had alcohol poisoning like four times," she says. "We toured and toured and toured - and I just kept abusing myself." Bif made her bones with "Gorilla Gorilla", but soon felt the need to express herself in a more aggressive fashion. She quit the band and hitched her wagon to the high-energy punk combo, Chrome Dog. Bif was born on June 15th 1971 in New Dehli, India. Her Birthparents were two private school teenagers, who gave her up to adoption. Her new adoption parents were tow american missionaries with the last name of Torbert, who moved her around like "a typical army brat". Her favourite move is "Babe Pig in the City", her favourite song is Madonna's "Get into the Groove" and her favourite food is Sushi.

Is Bif Naked your real name?
(laughs) No, the guys at high school called me Bif, which is by the way a male name. Naked was added, because one of the guys saw me accidently naked, which he proudly told all his friends.
 People praise you as the new Courtney Love. Does this bother you?
Actually I should be honored, since she is so famous and I can really identify myself with her lyrics, but I guess the main reason I get compared to her is because we are both woman.
Other people call you the goddess of punk.
That's really funny. I have never done punk, it is a thing of the late seventies.
How would you describe your music?
I like a lot of different styles. That's why I put everything from indie rock to hip hop on my CD.
A hotch-potch then.
Yeah that's a good word. Unfortunatly promotion is becoming a nightmare. People just want to label you.
You speak frankly about your rape. Do you simply wanna provoke or do you really commit yourself to Women's Rights?
(very earnest) I like to provoke. It is part of my personality to tell things the way they are. And because I am a woman I wanna encourage other women to be strong. But I wouldn't call myself a feminist, I am a humanist. There are good things on both the female and male side. One should not suppress neither side.
No riot grrrl then?
Nah, not at all. That's merely a stereotype from the States.
 The Gigs at Buffy
Bif Naked appeared in episode 4x03 "The Harsh Light of Day" and performed three songs at the frat party in the "Wolves House".

Bif Naked appears at the frat party. This is the first song we hear her perform.
Bif Naked - "Anything"
Bif is performing this song when Buffy goes back into the frat party to find Parker.
Bif Naked - "Lucky" (which also made it on the Buffy Soundtrack)
This song plays when Buffy and Parker dance, and continues to play while they have sex.
