Jo, the singer of "Stretch Princess" explains, "In England, there's a car called an Austin Princess. It's an ugly, funny car that, for some reason, they made into a limousine so it became a 'Stretch' Princess. It sounds glamorous and yet it's kind of tacky."

Who is "Stretch Princess"?
Jo Lloyd was born in Ireland on the 15th of October, 1968 but grew up in London from the age of 2. Even though she plays bass in the band and sings lead, she writes everything on piano. The band believes it gives them a whole different dimension when it comes to the song writing process.
James Wright born April 19, 1970, he is originally from Perth, Australia and met his current bandmates at a pub in London.
Dave Magee born July 11, 1973, is from a small town 25 miles NW of London, Amersham. He originally was in a much heavier band until he met Jo and James. He's proven to be a very talented musician, able to adjust to just about any music genre.
