Mark Lutz in New York

Mark Lutz, known to you guys as "The Groosalugg", will be at the Big Apple Comic Book, Art and Toy Convention talking about Angel.
Actor Mark Lutz will be playing two roles this weekend: celebrity and star-struck fan.

The "Angel'' star will be on hand to chat with followers of the cult television show at the Big Apple Comic Book, Art and Toy Convention.

But, in addition to signing autographs for his fans, you might also catch him collecting a few of his own.

"I was into comics when I was a kid, and now at conventions like this I started meeting a lot of the people who were behind the comics I loved," he explained.

"Some people might want to meet a famous actor, but I think it's just great meeting such talented artists."

And Lutz won't have to search far to find inspiration at the convention, with plenty of comic book creators on the guest list, including Neal Adams (Batman, X-Men, Continuity Comics), Jerry Robinson (creator of Batman's Joker, co-creator of Robin) Larry Hammer (GI Joe) and Bob McLeod (Action Comics, Wonder Woman) among others.

"Star Wars'' fans will also get the chance to meet actors who starred in the films including Jake Lloyd (Young Anakin Skywalker) and David Prowse (Darth Vader, "Star Wars Episodes IV-VI'').

The Penn Plaza Pavilion, 401 Seventh Ave, at 33rd Street; (201) 865 3288, today 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and tomorrow 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
