Video Contest For Slay-A-Thon 2005
This year's Slay-A-Thon will feature the esteemed winners of our
very own video contest.

This year's Slay-A-Thon will feature the esteemed winners of our
very own video contest. So we are throwing down the gauntlet with
the following video challenges. A winner for each of the challenges
will be rewarded with a signed photo of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer
or Angel cast member. Plus, all the winning videos are shown at the
event. Use the highest quality video clips so it will maintain its
beauty on a large screen.
Please send your submissions through YouSendIt. Their larger
capacity
(1 gigabyte) makes it a more practical way to submit your videos.
Please use contests@slayathon.org as the recipient email address.
Now, on with the challenges...
1) Angel specific character video using the song "Heroes" either by
Bowie or The Wallflowers.
2) Buffy specific character video using the song "One Girl
Revolution."
3) Men of Both Shows Video using the Song "It's Raining Men."
4) Angel 5 Year Summary Video using the song "To Live & Die in LA."
5) Buffy 7 Year Summary Video using any of the Buffy Soundtracks
Music.
6) Best Action Video using both shows. Music of your choice but make
it Action Packed!!!
7) Best Dance Video using the song "Canned Heat."
8) Best Memorial Video to Fallen Cast on both shows. Music of your
choice.
And here's what you get if you win...
A signed photo of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel cast member.
One of the winning videos will be named "The Powers That Be."
That'll be the one that really knocks the Slay-A-Thon Team out. The
grand prize winner receives an autographed collectible in addition
to the signed photo.
Eight (8) lucky artists will be forever immortalized as the creator
of one of our winning videos. Try to control your excitement.
And here's the fine print...
1 - Contestants may enter as many times as they wish, but can only
win one prize.
2 - Videos should in Flash, RealAudio, QuickTime, or Mpeg format. Do
you have another format that's fairly popular for transmission of
videos on the internet? Send us a note, and we'll tell you if it's
eligible.
3 - Entries must be submitted through YouSendIt by midnight (CST),
May 15, 2005. YouSendIt's larger capacity (1 gigabyte) makes it a
more practical way to submit videos.

4 - These rules are subject to modification as needed for clarity.
