Nathan Fillion Talks About

Interview with Nathan Fillion from the World Premiere of "Cinderella Man"
Nathan Fillion on the Reaction of Fans to Special Advance Screenings of “Serenity:
“The reactions have only been from fans so far so yes, they really, really like it. Will it stand up to America’s standards? You know, to have a successful movie you need a strong script and Joss Whedon really doesn’t… Prove me wrong, Joss. Prove me wrong (laughing).”

Nathan Fillion on the Possibility of “Serenity” Sequels:
“You know what? I think it all depends on how this first one does. If this first one does well, yeah, we could do it for hopefully two more.”

Nathan Fillion on Where the “Firefly” Series Would Pick Up Time-wise if it was Brought Back:
“These are all questions for someone smarter than I, Rebecca. Eight months is the time frame that they told me transpires between the TV series and when the movie takes place. So the TV series would have to take place in 8 months. We’d have to shoot it like ‘24’ – like an hour at a time.”

The Weirdest Thing That’s Been Said to Him at a Sci-Fi Convention:
“I’ve done a couple already. I just did one in London. It was a lot of fun. I did a nude scene in ‘Firefly’ and a fan said to me, ‘Hey, Nathan, Nathan. You know that nude scene you did? You should do more.’ And I said, ‘That’s really creepy sir.’”

Nathan Fillion on Shooting “Slither:
“It was a horror movie we shot up in Vancouver. It was two months of shooting in the night, in the dark, in the rain, in the woods, in the cold. We were outside. We were out in the woods and everything happens during one evening so we were there throughout the whole night. For two months it was shooting at night.”

”Slither” has Nothing to do With Snakes: “It’s aliens. An alien invasion. The name doesn’t make much sense to me. I think we should call it ‘Bill Pardy’s Adventure.’ ‘Bill Pardy Saves the World,’ something like that. Actually, coincidently Bill Pardy’s the name of the character I play and he saves the world.”

Just How Does Billy Pardy Save the World?: “With a little help from his friends and some good old-fashioned know-how. He’s the Chief of Police…in Wellsy South Carolina.”
