Surprises abound @ the Bash
The Angel Booster Bash had more than it's share of unannounced guests. Find out who made this the largest event of Angel guest ever. |
July 29-31 the Angel Booster Bash happened in Los Angeles, and being the home of so many members of the Whedonverse the event had some special people stop by. Here's photos of some of the surprises, some human and one that's not.
Julie Benz brings, her man, John Kassir (voice of the crypt keeper) to the cocktail party and banquet.
Adam Baldwin was a last minute addition to the Bash after Alexis, who had a family commitment and was unable to make the full day at the event. Adam stepped into his place at the AFD lunch and Q&A.
A dark haired Jenny Mollen (Nina Ash) brings her puppy, who steals the show and makes a new friend with a yorkie puppy an attendee brought to the event.
Iyari Limon stops by to visit with fans, hang out with friends, and sign some autographs.
Robia LaMorte shows up with Iyari and spends a few hours at the Bash unnanounced.
Julie, Clare, Iyari, and Robia have a girl chat.
Then to top everything off the man, the myth, the limping legend Joss Whedon shows up as Alexis's date for the banquet. Even on a cane (from a rescent running injury). Joss mingles with everyone at the banquet and hooks up with some of his former employees.
