Hollywood North Report has learned that Shawn Ashmore (aka Bobby Drake/Iceman) has arrived in Vancouver to reprise his role in X-Men 3.
Meanwhile, IGN Filmforce backs their source, saying that Shohreh Aghdashloo made a mistake when telling Entertainment Weekly what character she's playing. The site claims it is indeed Dr. Kavita Rao and not Dr. Cecilia Reyes.
[She told EW: "I am playing Dr. Cecilia Reyes, and she has the power to create a six inch force field around herself and ward off any attacks." She will start filming in October.
When asked about other details, she adds "To tell the truth, I don't know because I have not read the script yet. Brett is still working on it."]
In that same article IGN also talks about yet another new character:
 In other X3 news, IGN has learned that the cast of X3 will feature yet another appearance by a supporting character from the Marvel comics. That addition is none other than Jamie Madrox, a.k.a. Multiple Man. The role has not yet been cast, though.
Dr. Kavita Rao is a character created by Joss Whedon in his "Astonishing X-Men.
Shawn Ashmore is Michelle Trachtenberg's boyfriend.
