As usual, ABC’s Lost was the top-rated show of the evening at a hefty 13.9/20 in the overnights, 20.72 million viewers and an 8.9/21 among adults 18-49 from 9-10 p.m. Comparatively, that was an increase from week two of lead-in Freddie (Overnights: #3, 6.0/ 9; Viewers: #4, 8.17 million; A18-49: #2, 3.5/ 9) of 132 percent in the overnights, 12.55 million viewers and 154 percent among adults 18-49. Freddie debuted at a 6.5/10 in the overnights, 9.38 million viewers and a 4.2/11 among adults 18-49 last Wednesday, Oct. 12.

On UPN, the always reliable America’s Next Top Model remained such at a solid 4.7/ 7 in the overnights (#4), 5.30 million viewers (#5), and a 2.6/ 8 among adults 18-49 (#4) from 8-9 p.m. Although lead-out Veronica Mars has indeed built from its modest levels in season one (while continuing to beat competing WB drama Related), a fifth-place 2.7/ 4 in the overnights, 3.12 million viewers and a 1.5/ 4 among adults 18-49 at 9 p.m. last night was down from Top Model by a considerable 43 percent in the overnights, 2.18 million viewers and 42 percent among adults 18-49.
