No Serenity in theaters in...
... many countries around the globe! |
Argentina, Thailand, Taiwan, Brazil and Singapore have all decided to drop Serenity and release the movie as a direct to DVD-movie.
There are rumours about Greece and Germany as well.
But I don't think, they will drop it in Germany, because the trailers are already in the theaters, UIP did a lot of promotion, informing the reporters as good as possible and giving them background informations, they organise pre-screenings and special double screenings (pilot and movie) etc. for the fans.
A drop in Germany seems unrealistic.
