J. August Richards to join 'Conviction.'
He'll be playing a lawyer again on Dick Wolf's new series. |

Variety reports that Dick Wolf has finalized casting for his new NBC series "Conviction." In addition to Richards, Stephanie March ("Law & Order: SVU") and Jordan Bridges ("Mona Lisa Smile") join the cast. Richards will play a snobby attorney trying to claw his way to the top. "Conviction" won't be a straight procedural, but rather a "charactercedural." While March will be reprising her role as Alex Cabot, "Conviction" won't bear the L&O monkier.
