Kate Bekinsale as Wonder Woman?
The speculation continues as to who will play Wonder woman. Over at canmag, they discuss the idea of Kate Bekinsale as Wonder Woman. |
 The people over at canmag continue the ongoing discussion as to who the role of wonder woman will go to. Here's what they had to say:
"Unless you have been living underneath a rock, you most likely know that Joss Whedon has been planning on creating a film for Wonder Women for some time now. In multiple interviews posted on CanMag.Com, Whedon admits that he is looking for a young Wonder Woman who has a more 'coming of age' story. In his latest interview, Whedon had this to say:
We'll meet a Wonder Woman who is similar to the one from the original comics and from the TV series to an extent.
Even with the slight developments and hints from Whedon, the biggest question that still remains is who will be the lucky actress to play the role. With multiple actresses already suggested, the one to capture the spotlight was Kate Beckinsale. However, when she said she was interested in doing the role we may have taken her comment a bit too lightly.
The people at CanMag.Com are hoping that Beckinsale becomes the top contender for the role of Wonder Woman. The actress has already done physically intensive roles before (Underworld) and has the look and grace to pull the part off. Actually, the only thing that may hurt the actress is that she may be too skinny to fit the role. Do us a favor and hit the weights!
It turns out that Kate Beckinsale may have picked at fate the same way Brandon Routh did for Superman Returns. Routh decided that he fit the role of Clark Kent so well that he dressed up as Superman for a Halloween long before he was ever cast for the Bryan Singer pic.
Well, it now looks like Kate Beckinsale may have done the same thing.
The good people over at Egotastic posted images of Kate Beckinsale with hubby Len Wiseman on Halloween. In the pictures you can see Len dressed up as Superman and Kate Beckinsale is, wait a minute, Wonder Woman!"
So what do you think? Would Kate Bekinsale fit the role as Wonder Woman? Lets hope Joss and his people decide soon!
