'Party's' Over at UPN

Well, at least Kristin Cavallari will always have "Laguna Beach." But her network-TV coming out "Party" looks to be over a scant two weeks after it began.
UPN has pulled the plug on unscripted show "Get This Party Started" after just two airings, following a barely-there ratings performance on Tuesday (Feb. 14). It will be gone for at least the rest of February, and its chances of returning are probably slim.
The show, hosted by Cavallari and Ethan Erickson, aimed to mine the same feel-good vein of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" by having professional party planners throw a bash for deserving people in honor of a significant event in their lives. Viewers, however, declined to RSVP.
In its Feb. 7 premiere, "Get This Party Started" drew only about 1.7 million viewers. This week, airing opposite the Winter Olympics and FOX's "House," the show could scare up only a little over a million viewers. Its adults 18-49 rating was an equally puny 0.4.
UPN will air the Martin Lawrence movie "Black Knight" in place of "Party" on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Reruns of last fall's "America's Next Top Model" finale, "Girlfriends" and "Half & Half" will fill the night the following week.
Ethan Erickson played Percy in season 3 of "Buffy" and returned for another episode in season 4.
