Tonight at the Oscars... UPDATE
... is Amy Adams, she is nominated for best supporting actress and she once appeared on "Buffy"! |
Amy Adams is nominated for best actress in a supporting role for "Junebug". Rachel Weisz, Frances McDormand, Michelle Williams and Catherine Keener are nominated as well.
She was Tara's cousin Beth in "Family", episode 5.06 of "Buffy". She also starred in "Cruel Intentions 2" as Catherine (Sarah Michelle Gellar played the same role in the first part) and alongside Amy Acker in "Catch me if you can".
She already won the Independent Spirit Awards for the same role.
UPDATE: OK, she did not win, instead Rachel Weisz won for The Constant Gardener.
But, "Cruel Intentions"-co-star and friend of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon won the lead-actress Academy Award for "Walk The Line".
