 | CBS picks How I Met You Mother up for another season! The networks picks up 14 shows. What about "Close To Home", starring Christian Kane? |
The three freshman shows sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" and dramas "Criminal Minds" and "Ghost Whisperer" got picked up.
Also picked up for another season:
The three "CSI" series, "Survivor", "The Amazing Race," "NCIS," "Without a Trace," "Numb3rs," "Cold Case," "Two and a Half Men" and newsmagazine "60 Minutes."
That means, only two sitcoms got picked up yet (plus new sitcom "The Class"), the future of the other shows is uncertain.
There is no word on "The King of Queens" yet, and chances for "Yes, Dear" and "Still Standing" are slim.
Freshmen sitcoms "Out of Practice" and "Courting Alex" sre moving to Wednesday nights later this month, a decision will be made afterwards.
Uncertain is the future of "48 Hours Mystery" and the drama "Close to Home", starring Christian Kane. "Close To Home" started with mediocre ratings but scored higher ratings after moving to Fridays.
"The Unit" (Amy Acker was originally supposed to star in "The Unit", but the Network didn't like her.) and "The New Adventures of Old Christine," will premiere over the next week, their fate is uncertain, as well.
