With this summer’s release date approaching, Diamond Select Toys is excited to announce the details surrounding the upcoming Deluxe Angel and Spike action figure release! With three exclusive offerings scheduled to complement the core assortment, fans of the long-running series are sure to take note!
The Action Figure Xpress-exclusive “School Hard” Spike features a truly iconic look for Spike – his black and red clothes from his first appearance! Time and Space Toys’ Angel, however, sports a more retro look based on the episode “Are You Now or Have You Ever Been” in which the 50’s Angel first arrives at the Hyperion Hotel! The Previews Exclusive Hawaiian Shirt Two-Pack includes both “Doomed” Spike and “Sense and Sensitivity” Angel in all their floral glor
“We’re looking forward to a great response from fans,” stated Kevin Kriess, owner of Time and Space Toys. “The 50’s Angel stands out in Angel’s history and has translated into an action figure very nicely.”

All of the upcoming Deluxe Angel and Spike figures will feature removable and interchangeable parts as well as accessories taken directly from these fantastic scenes. Due to be released before this summer’s spectacular San Diego Comic Con, all of the Deluxe Spike and Angel action figures were sculpted by Gentle Giant Studios utilizing the latest in real scan technology.
