KANE Interview, Part II
Enjoy the second part of the interview Slayerverse had with KANE... |
Slayerverse: What do you like most about touring? And what do you dislike??
Christian – Likes: Seeing new faces and trying to make them smile. Dislikes: Airplanes.
Steve – I like meeting new people and playing for different crowds.
Slayerverse: What´s up with a record contract?? Have the showcases been a success??
Christian – Yes. They’ve been a great success. We’ve been offered a deal by RCA in Nashville.
Slayerverse: Any plans on releasing another album of the new songs you have posted on myspace or are you waiting to see how the record deal pans out?
Steve - We’re waiting to see.
Slayerverse: From where do you get the inspiration for your lyrics?
Christian – Heartbreak and Love. Beer drinking and brawling.
Steve– Life, love, loss, and honesty.

Slayerverse: Steve, how do you like working with Chris?? Is it annoying that he sometimes has not that much time because of his acting career??
Christian – What the fuck kind of question is that?
Steve – Christian’s acting career actually provide a nice balance for us to creatively explore other things. I think it makes us better friends instead of just business partners.
Slayerverse: Chris, what do you like more- playing the good guy or playing the villain?
Christian – Bad guy. Always.
Slayerverse: Christian, any news on Death Walks the Streets, the horror film you are co-producing? Like what is your character about and such.
Christian – He’s a bad guy with a heart, not unlike Lindsey. The good news is we just got distribution so it’s a go. It’s a bad ass flick. Get ready. Nothing like this has been done before.
Slayerverse: So, there´s actually another question ... What can WE, the fans, expect from your concerts here in Germany?? :D
Christian – We don’t do anything half-assed. All we want is for people to leave with a smile because no matter how big of a fan, you’ll never have a better time than we are having.
Steve – Nothing too different. We think the set list is what most people there are going to want to hear. As far as the stuff in between, we’ll stay honest as always.
