 | 'Him and Us' too much for U.S audiences? Kim Cattrall comments on why she believes Anthony Heads latest pilot (based on the life of Elton John) was not picked up this fall! |
Sir Elton John's recent bid to write a sitcom may have failed because the plot would apparently have been too outrageous for American audiences. Him and Us was reportedly due to be a sitcom about the life of an ageing gay musician and his entourage starring Kim Cattrall and Anthony Head.

However the show failed to garner any interest from any US networks, and was therefore killed before it even got off the ground. Cattrall commented: "It would have been a great series, but perhaps the subject matter might have been too much for some people."
