 Happy 2nd Birthday Chosen Art!
Chosen Art provided Slayerverse for some time with many beautiful arts. Now it is time to celebrate Dana's Chosen Art site, it's a part of Dana.TheDudes.nu!

Dana was the Chief-Editor for the English Slayerverse version for some months. You can still meet her on our board! She is a moderator over there!
  It's been two years this June since Chosen Art opened it's doors with Dana behind the wheel, and showcased it's first bunch of fanart. The layout featured promotions of Dawn from Season 6 and it was focused on the color red.
Over the years this site has changed it's layout 25 times, featuring such people like Dawn, Buffy, Angel, Spike and Xander from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Rory, Logan and Lorelai from Gilmore Girls. Veronica, Logan and Duncan from Veronica Mars. Mal, Inara and Serenity from Firefly/Serenity. Timothy Speedle, and the rest of the cast from CSI: Miami focus on Speed's funeral. Of course there have been actor focus as well, such as Charisma Carpenter (current layout), Jennifer Garner, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alexis Bledel, Lauren Graham and Michelle Trachtenberg.
The site has gone from only containing a small portion of very bad art to a big bunch of gorgeous wallpapers and icons, tutorials within photoshop and html/css, textures, free layouts and it also started the huge(!) HQ focused gallery 'Pretty as a Picture'.
During the passed two years Chosen Art has gotten over 60 affiliates, and is still accepting new ones. Site awards as well as fanart awards. It's been featured on several occations here on Slayerverse and became an official partner of Slayerverse about a year ago. It's been through theft and abandonment due to death in the family, it's been closed down once due to theft. It has been closed completely for parts of AOL and it's been hotlinked attacked.
The site passed a big mark this month as well when it got it's 50 000nd hit. This is more than Dana had ever expected would happen opening up this site 2 years ago. The site has also expanded in it's fandom of fanart, when Dana started out she only made Buffy and Angel pieces, now the fandom contains Alias, Angel, Btvs, Firefly, Gilmore Girls, Lost, The O.C, Tru Calling and Veronica Mars. There is also crossover pieces, such as Veronica and Spike asking the question 'what if?'.
Over the years Dana has explored different kind of fanart styles, the most recent being cuts, bruises and blood. Others have been general blending, 'boxy style' and single actor pieces.
Last year Chosen Art also launched it's very own special christmas advent calendar, where you were presented with a new present each day cosisting of wallpapers, icons, banners, music videos, bookmarks and textures. There is plans for this calendar to return this christmas as well, as it was such a hit last year.
There is still big plans in the future for this site, as it will start up it's SOTM awards again, bring you more fanart and textures and more tutorials, as well as DVD covers from such shows as Veronica Mars and Supernatural.
There is also plans of making a spin-off site, focusing only on the icons which will probably be named 'Chosen Icons'.
Dana hopes you have enjoyed the passed two years as much as she has, and she hopes to bring you back time and time again to see new work posted, maybe tagging a little and using some tutorials.
