 | Movie Buffy feat. TV Buffy? UGO.com asked Kristy Swanson an interesting question. |
UGO: A few years ago they did a Highlander movie where they took the TV Highlander and the movie Highlander characters and put them together in a movie. You think they'll ever do anything like that for Buffy?
KRISTY: Wow, that'd be interesting. I don't know. That's a Joss Whedon question. It's his baby.

What do you think?
A combination of them both in a new project? Awesome or bullshit?
What about a cameo of Swanson in a "Buffy"-project?
Keep in mind, "Buffy"-projects are very unlikely to happen these days, but feel free to dream a little!

| eadweard6 | 19.06.06 - 06:10 | | BS idea, even IF there were to be anymore BVS. | | Raineri_RRC | 19.06.06 - 06:22 | if it was a big screen movie we would HAVE to have bufangel, cause the big public knows that romance and in movies you cant just relie on the old fans of the show.
i think that kind of movie will happen in 20 years, with a total different cast, showing Buffy arriving in sunnydale and the story starting all over again. the movie will probably not gain any money if joss doesnt do it, probably. so, in 20 years, if im still alive and well, m going to see a buffy movie!!! yeay for me... (almost crying thinking: 20 years) | | JB | 19.06.06 - 07:45 | | @delipa: I don't want David and Sarah to come back so Buffy and Angel can get together in the movie. I don't care if they get together at all. It's just that they are my two favorite actors from the show. Buffy and Angel are also my two favorite characters as well. It has nothing to do with a ship. Don't jump to so many conclusions. | | delipa | 19.06.06 - 09:49 | | You're right, JB. I guess it's just a knee-jerk reaction from years of fandom bull****. For instance, Raineri's self contradictory explanation of why there *has* to be both of them. If they know the 'romance' (if that's the word you want to use for a relationship that was almost victorian in its sexism), then they know who Buffy is. That would be relying on old fans, alienating the general public as well as newer fans who don't give a damn about B/A, B/S or any of that crap. Anyway, AFAIR, no one has ever really mentioned anything about a Buffy movie. Ever. So it's all just fanwank. | You have to be logged in to comment. | |
