Slayerverse is back
We are back with a new design, a new server and new content. You can read about the changes here. And there are quite a lot, so read on. |
The visually most striking part is the new layout, which is the result of our attempt to combine functionality and a good look.
However, that is not everything. Registered users may now expand the biographies and episode guides, similar to the way it works over at Wikipedia, and improve the previous entries. In the biography section, you may now include every actor and actress from the Whedonverse. You can also write episode guides of the series Angel, Buffy, Tru Calling, Bones, and many others.
What you have to do in order to participate in expanding the site is to register again.
The news are now organised in a new way: at the left hand side you get all the news of the last few days and in the middle of the page the most important news are featured, which are also being shown at the top of the page for a longer amount of time.
Another new feature for our users is the possibility to write news articles. If your news article is well-written, we will put it online. You also need an account to write articles.
In the next 3 weeks the following features will also be added to the site:
Registered users can post information about themselves with photos etc. There will be a featured User of the Day.
The message board and the gallery will be merged completely with the site, so that you only need one login to access everything.
Another important feature: soon it will be possible to adjust the page to your individual needs and to configure it according to your reading style.
All areas are BBCode style (except for the comments) so you can use many tags like bold etc to layout your news, episodes, bios.

Didn't you hear Slayer saying that they're trying to organize everything back to normal?
The news will have the pics above 'em again, and they're still thinking which layout they'll use. I think they'll probably change the color of the site back to black. I dunno. And as far as I'm corcerned, they don't have to, if they don't feel like it.
As to the nick problems - you're not alone. Can't you see other people are having the same problems, as well?! Jeez! Some people do think highly of themselves.

I was just going to Edit the Summary from "Episodes" section, when I saw that at the "Season 1 Episode 3" is completely wrong. It says there that the episode is "Same Time, Same Place", which it isn't. It's suppose to be "The Witch".
You know what I think? I think some people are definitely messing around with the site. This option, the option to edit someone else's site, had some asshole going around doing stuff to his own twsited pleasure, and mixing pretty much everything.
If anyone could just Edit the title, and put the right episode's title name, I'd appreacite that.
Also, I don't think that having everyone who wants to Edit the "Episodes" section is such a good idea. Poeple'll mess around, and not every time Fans'll have the patience to re-write it. Maybe you could forbid the person who did that, so that he/she won't be able to mix it again.
Or maybe, when someone Edits something, it should go through a Moderator first, and then added to the site.
