A few fun facts about Danny Strong aka Jonathan.

•Appeared in the unaired test pilot for "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," but did not debut on the series itself until the second season.
•Attended college with and co-starred in school stage productions with George Hertzberg (Adam on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer") and J. August Richards (Gunn on "Angel the Series").
•Originally auditioned for the role of Xander in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", but later got the role of Jonathan Levinson.
•He did not learn that his character, Jonathan, was going to die until he got the script several days beforehand. He has expressed some disappointment that he wasn't told by the producers personally.
•He lives within a half-mile of both Tom Lenk and Adam Busch, his fellow actors in the 'Nerd Troika' on BtVS.
•His favorite episode of BtVS is, not surprisingly, "Superstar" (Season 4, Episode 17).

| TracerRT | 10.08.06 - 11:50 | He did a great job as Jonathan. One of my favorite characters on the show. The Nerds reminded me so much of people I really know that they were just hilarious. Yeah, it's to bad they didn't show him the curtesy of letting him know his character was going to be killed - but - that could have been because he himself wasn't actually leaving the show since he would return several times as the Johnathan incarnation of the ultimate evil.
