10. WILLOW: I've seen so much. I thought I could take anything. But, Buffy, this... this was different.
BUFFY: It'll be alright.
WILLOW: I'm trying to think how to say it... to explain it so you understand.
BUFFY: It doesn't matter as long as you're okay.
WILLOW: I'm not okay. I knew those guys. I go to that room every day. And when I walked in there, it... it wasn't our world anymore. They made it theirs. And they had fun. What are we gonna do?
BUFFY: What we have to. Promise me you'll stay in tonight, okay? (pause) By the way, it would be nice if you could watch after Dawn tonight.
9. JOYCE: You get the hell away from my daughter!
Dawn: And Buffys ugly lemonade?
8. ANGEL: I gotta catch a cargo ship to Asia, maybe trek to Nepal...
BUFFY: You know, those newfangled flying machines really are much safer than they used to be.
ANGEL: I can't fly. There's no sure way to guard against the daylight. I-I-I don't like this any more than you do, Buffy. But there's no other choice.
BUFFY: When?
ANGEL: Tonight. As soon as possible.
BUFFY: But it's my birthday.
Dawn: Right! Who do I have to kill to get a piece of cake after all?
7. JOYCE: I think it's (starts rubbing his shoulders) more of a *hot* night, don't you?
XANDER: Whatever.
JOYCE: (massages his shoulders) Ooo, you are so tense. (kisses his neck) Mm.
CORDELIA: What are you doing? Make me yak!
JOYCE: (defensive) Cordelia, go back upstairs. This is between us.
Dawn: Xander, how about movie tomorrow?
6. JOYCE: I don't. I blame you. You've been this huge influence on her, guiding her. You had this whole relationship with her behind my back. I feel like you've taken her away from me.
Dawn: As long as nobody blames me....
5. Dawn: Dear diary, Buffy is back. I think that means I'm moving back to my room.
4. JOYCE: No, I can't just! Buffy, what is this?
WILLOW: She was running away again.
Dawn: (happy) Really?
3. JOYCE I've uh, I've got laundry.
BUFFY: Why are you...? (she bolts up in bed) You had sex with Giles?!
JOYCE: (gasps)
BUFFY: YOU HAD SEX WITH GILES?!
JOYCE: (turns to hurry out of the room) It was the candy! We were teenagers!
BUFFY: On the hood of a police car?!?
JOYCE: (stops just outside the room looking back) I'll be downstairs. You feel better. (she hurries away)
Dawn: I'm coming with you!
Buffy: You got a crush on Xander?
2. Giles: I don't have to tell you that you're being rather rash. Finding an address hardly adds up to case closed.
Buffy: Look, it's done. You want to go after them and tell them that they can't go? That all of their planning and dreaming was for nothing? That they can't spend tonight with their honeys of all nights?
Dawn: You got no problem telling me!
1. WILLOW: Buffy was right. Buffy was right.
ANYA: It doesn't sound very likely, does it?
Dawn: I can't believe you agree with me finally!
