Do you enjoy your time here in Germany??
Iīm definitely enjoying my stay here in Germany, īcause Iīm meeting so many fun people like you guys and all the others- without a question, Iīm enjoying it. I just love that all those people can come together, being peaceful... and thereīs no fighting and yelling, weīll thereīs a little kicking and screaming - a lot of screaming actually- (laughs) late night parties and.. oh... (laughs again) uhm.. I didnīt mean it that bad ;)... Everybody here is so friendly and welcoming me with open arms so, definitely I like it here! And I think itīs beautiful, too.
Last weekend (now, two weeks ago) you were at the Starfury: Not-Fade-Away Convention in the UK then you were in Amsterdam... and now youīre here. Do you enjoy travelling that much or is it just too stressful?
I would say that I like it sometimes, but I do get stressed out pretty easily. Because I just like, uhm, that sounds really snobby, but Iīm not a snob (laughs)- but like on the train I wished I had just all those little things from home, you know, just all those little things you canīt travel with, that I miss, but I do like seeing all those different areas and seeing different parts of the world, but I just wish that I could do it with a big trunk full of my stuff, you know, with my little earphones, and I have this little foot-massager that I put my feet on under my desk, you know... (laughs out loud) just stuff like that! But I hate the airports, I hate the trainstations and I hate busses... I like driving busses, right, that sounds really strange (smiles) .
Are there a lot of differnces between the fans in Europe and the fans in the US?
I have to say.. no, uhm, I think that of course everyone is different and everybody has his own personality, but the common ground here is that everybody has an interest in the show and shows similar to it.. and the people in the US are very similar.
What do you prefer- singing or acting?
I donīt know, I- I love doing both, but I donīt want to be somebody, whoīs bad at it... like... remember with Mariah Carey? She can sing so great, but then she had that movie a couple of years ago, Butterfly, remember that?!... So.. I donīt want to get like that, not that Iīm comparing myself to Mariah Carey (laughs), but uh.. I just love doing both, but-- I grew up with the singing thing, so.. the other one (acting) is kinda new.
"Itīs not that easy being green"... So, how much time did it take to get the Lorn make-up done?
Oh well, from the start to finish it was about 3 hours- a long 3 hours- and Dayne Johnson was the head of the make-up department. And heīs great, heīs wonderful! Heīs crazy as a loon (laughs), but he would do everything he could do to make me more comfortable. He had the air-conditioning on and he bought a little flat-screen TV so I could watch movies in the trailer, because I hated the glue and the whole process. So it usually took about 3 hours and then it took about 40 minutes to take it off, to remove it at the end of the day... My friends just thought that you can just pull it off, but you canīt do that at all. But David Boreanaz used to always come up to me, which I hated, at the end of the day, when they said "Okay, weīre done" and they wrapped, he came up and grab a horn and go "krrk" (makes a funny noise, while demonstrating how David pulled the horn off) ... he just ripped a horn off. And then everytime he did that, I screamed at him. And they collected this big bucket full of horns...(laughs) But I did not find it funny at all!
There are a lot of rumors about a Spike movie or Angel Tv movies... so.. can you tell us more about that?
I wish I could, but thereīs not much more to tell. As far as I know itīs just been talked about a lot. And I know that there are people that really wanna do it. I know that the network has expressed a lot of interests, but I donīt exactly know what Jamesī position is on it... I think that heīd be willing to talk about it, for sure, but as it stands thereīs nothing brewing right now. So itīs just , uh... Itīs just a little rumor, but who knows?! Someday it might happen...
