Spike comes back after chosen without his love for Buffy.

Looking for a fic where Spike gets brought back after chosen, but doesn't want anything to do with Buffy. I remember some rather brutal sexual interaction and her getting shot trying to save some humans in a park.
Would appreciate any help I can get because I've searched high and low and the closest I was able to find was Devil piglet's; Prayers to Broken Stone.
Any others in this vein (ha ha) would be welcome as well.

My Life Closed Twice is worth reading even if it isn't the one you're looking for.

I know this one but I cannot find it. The PTB tell Spike that his love for Buffy was false somehow before they send him back. He's very angry at her but she's persistent in her love, then they realize they are being played by the PTB or something.
