Spoilers through Buffy 8.08 "No Future For You, Part III" and Angel: "After the Fall" Chapter I. This is in response to a quasi-challenge to write a meeting between Buffy and Spike in the Season 8 context – their first meeting since "Chosen".

Buffy has moved on to Scotland and is leading her army of slayers in the fight against evil, but her past keeps coming back to haunt her. Canon up through the comics Buffy season 8 Wolves at the Gate arc.

"He wouldn't have come to Rome, except that she was dead." Post-Chosen, post-Not Fade Away, integrates current Buffy Season 8 (Wolves at the Gate), Spike: After the Fall and Angel: After the Fall canon to some extent.

Safe in the bosom of the A-List, Spike is set up on a date with Buffy: the world's most hated tabloid trash. Wackiness refuses to ensue. (Not AHAU!) This takes place some time on from the end of the comics Angel: After the Fall #17 and BtVS 8x21 (Harmonic Divergence).


Spuffy Satsu (Love me, Love my Vampire) by slaymesoftly.
Sequel to a gen/Gethan fic, this requires some knowledge of comics. Buffy has rescued Ethan, Angel and Spike from an Initiative type group. This is set some time after they've returned and worked out their issues about not finding each other immediately. Their happy reunion gets interrupted...

Spike discovers Buffy has a new talent... in bed. AU sometime after Wolves at the Gate.
