Buffy question Willow and Tara not contributing

I know this is a long shot since I only remember this one scene, but any help is greatly appreciated This fic takes place after Buffy is resurrected, so its a S6 story. She confronts Willow and I think Tara about where did her mom's insurance money go and why did they use it when it should have been saved for Dawn. I believe she told them they should of been contributing to the bills instead of leeching off of Dawn's inheritance. Strangely this is all I remember about this fic, but it should help since most fics have her returning never questioning them on how they spent her mother's insurance money. I hope this is enough to help

Maybe it's one of BuffyMeetsSpike's fics? There is a scene like that in "Destroying Entropy." You can find her fics at BSV.

There's a scene like that in BuffyMeetsSpike's Misplaced as well.

I've read several fics in the past few weeks that have had a similar scene but I can't remember all of them. I think there may be a scene like that in Ginmar's Affinity. Possibly The Chiaroscuro Series by Miss Murchison. Unfortunately I read a LOT and only have records of what I've read on my reader, not online.

Edited to add: The more I think about it the more certain I am that there's a scene like that in The Chiaroscuro Series by Miss Murchison.

Where as Willow is freaked out and hurt about Buffy asking for rent, even if it's to help Buffy make ends meet and keep her financially afloat, in both stories.

That sounds exactly like Buffy's Chance by Sparkly Faerie over at ff.net. Unfortunately, the story is unfinished but the scene you described is at the beginning of Chapter 2.

I love "Misplaced" but unfortunately that's not the one. I love Spike and Buffy switch bodies stories and that's one of my favorites

I've never read these stories, so there not it. I've already start reading the first one and its turning out to be a great find, so thanks a bunch I 'm starting the next one as soon as I finish Family. Willow seemed she felt entitled more than she was freaked out, which gets me angry when I read some of these back-from-the-dead and here-are-your-bills stories, good luck. The wicked witch could of least offered a spell to fix those durn pipes(*smh*)

I have a love/hate relationship with this particular story, so I'm positive its not it. Here passivity and retreat into herself made me sort of want to shake her a little bit. The whole I can't believe Xander did this was ridiculous since he tried to rape her before.

I'm so happy you're enjoying Family, and Road Full of Promise is a great read, too.
