Buffy, Spike, and Dru get sucked into hell with Angel

I read this story years ago where Buffy, Spike, and Drusilla are sucked into hell with Angel during the acathala ordeal. They go through a lot and Spike and Buffy end up together same for Dru and Angel. They are like a family when they end up leaving Hell.

Was there an ice place there, with Spike or Angel or someone frozen in ice?

I don't remember but I don't think so. I remember there were demons. And spike mated Buffy. He had saved her. I think it was the typical hell is hot scenario.

Shoot. I've been looking for that ice-hell story forever.

The story your looking for isn't After Dust by EMG is it?

Summary: Spike gets staked! That's just the beginning of his troubles.

The summary isn't much to go on but Spike closes a portal that Dawn is forced (by WolfRam and Hart) to open and becomes trapped in a hell dimension of sorts where he is frozen solid for decades.

I think the Ice hell story might be West of the Moon, East of the Sun by KnifeEdge. Spike gets taken by an ice demon and Buffy has to rescue him.

West of the Moon East of the Sun is brilliant, probably my favorite Fic along with The Writings on the Wall by Holly.
I know his isn't the place, but just reading the title makes me want to read it.

I'm gonna reopen this thread because this is exactly the story I'm trying to find and I'm hoping fresh eyes will help. I've been searching both my computer and the SR search forums for hours and I'm going crazy here. This old post is the closest I've gotten.

In addition to xappletinix's initial description above, I also remember a scene once Spike, Buffy, Angel and Drusilla are back from hell where Drusilla's hair is all burned away (by a demon/dragon?) and Buffy goes out and shaves her head in solidarity and gets them biker style clothing to match their new look. Spike is incredibly proud of Buffy for that. Also I think all four got mystical tattoos while they were in the hell dimension (though I'm not 100% positive on this last part.)
