She is one of my all time favorite authors but I haven't seen anything new from her in over a year. She didn't leave any dreaded WIPs but I miss her stories. Does anyone know if she's still writing or has she dropped out of the fandom? Thanks, MaryCate

Did you try messaging her? If you haven't, she might reply and let you know herself!

Hi, MaryCate - I'm still writing and I haven't dropped out of the fandom! I was asked to write a full 93,000-word paranormal non-BtVS romance novel using my Shifters from 'Running Wild' except in our world. It took me a full year to complete and has recently been sent off. I'm now working on a follow-up to it just in case the publishers do accept the first one and I'm hoping it will take less time to complete. Once that's done, I will be writing more Spuffy because I love Buffy and Spike so much.
I was careful to leave no WIPs outstanding when I started my paranormal, because I know how frustrated I get when a really interesting story breaks off and never gets updated again. I don't like to disappoint anyone, so I've always made a point of never even starting posting a story until it's completely finished and all I have to do is check for grammatical mistakes before posting a chapter a day until it's all up. I'm so glad you like my stories! Thank you! Jo (Dreamweaver)

*waves* @ Dreamweaver ~ Remember you have a LJ too? I'm not sure if it's allowed to point to your published work here but you could post at LJ.

I love shifter stories and would be interested in them if they are available for me (being from Germany, sometimes ebooks aren't; paperbacks are).

Though I miss your spuffy fics....
Good luck for selling your story!

That's brilliant! I never thought of LJ! If my book is accepted and they put it out as an ebook, I'll advise everyone there. I understand that they do issue it as a paperback after a year as an ebook, so if it does get published you'll be able to get it. - Jo

Thank you! This one doesn't have Buffy and Spike, but it has a lot of similar elements and my leopard-Shifter does look a lot like Spike. - Jo

I figured that it wouldn't but I fell in love with Rinhar and was so happy that he went and took Anya back with him! I can't wait to read more.

I wanted Anya to have somebody who really valued her. This one's a romance set in our world between a Shifter and a human girl. I think you'll like it. *g*
