Spike and Buffy go back to Season One

Buffy is in her living room and Spike shows up at her door and she realizes he is her Spike. They find Angel and he asks why she's with Spike but the PTB made everyone think he got his soul earlier. He cracks off to Angel something along the lines of I have my soul. And Angel says yeah I know but why are you here? It wasn't really long many 15000 words at the most and it ended with the going to fight the master.

Was Spike younger and part human?

I don't thinks so I remember Buffy gets sent back and she is missing Spike. Then there is a knock on the door and it's HER Spike. They end up having to explain to a ten year old Dawn a PG version of Slaying. They also end up fighting/ going to fight the Master and that's were it ended.

But if you do know of another fix like this please tell me. I love season one fics and there aren't many.

I've definitely read this, unfortunately I don't remember anymore specifics. I'll search around some with google.

I think I found IT ! It's a 2 part story by Slaymesoftly. The first story is Prologue to Life/ I Know You and the second is I Know You II. They are both on this site. I believe the part you are thinking of might be at the beginning of I Know You II.

I think the older version of Spike returns to his body when his younger unsouled self is having sex with a do-over Buffy at the end of Prologue To Life rather than arriving at the door, unless I'm totally misremembering that/mixing fics.
