Hello all, for the life of me, I cannot remember either the name of this story, or the author. It's about Buffy in Rome, coming into contact with Spike's signature in an alley in Rome. I think he came to her aid against other vampires. She recognizes him, his demon anyway, but he's in another mans body. He's slim, with very dark, longish hair and not overly tall. He tells her when he dusted, he was eventually recycled into another body and immediately went looking for her. I was intrigued by this, as I've never read any Spuffy fiction in this genre. If it rings any bells with anyone, I"d love a heads up. Thanks!
