Buffy and Spike captured, giant terrarium

Hi guys,

Looking for a fic I read many a year ago. Buffy and Spike are captured by someone or something, either back before the chip or when Spike still hates Buffy, and are locked in some kind of big terrarium (ie: some big glass dome thingy). Ring any bells? I can't remember much more!

Only one I thought of when I saw this, is:

This story is based on Challenge #87 on the Bloodshedverse, issued by Bloodshed Baby. The challenge reads like this: Another early season "lost somewhere and having to rely on each other to survive" Spuffy story in the same vein as Castaway, Stranded, The Game series, etc. (Oh come on, you know these kind of fics are fun). The challenge? Trying to come up with a plot/story line that is somewhat unique (or not) yet keeps us on the edge of our seats. Can be time travel, stuck somewhere, kidnapped, etc. Set in Season 3, after Lover's Walk, Vampire Council decides to punish those responsible for the state the Aurelius line is in and kidnap Buffy and Spike.

This story takes place 200 years after Evolution. Much of the story will be told in various flashbacks, but the time line will skip around. Clues will be given as to what year it is and such, but please assume nothing just because you haven't been told it yet.

I would love to read this story if it's none of these! However, I highly recommend all three! Sounds like Bio-dome (Pauly Shore movie? I'm at work I can't check)?

There's a story by dutchbuffy2305 at Just Rewards called "Crossing into Unchipped Country", that has Souled and Unsouled Spikes, different dimensions and Buffy stuck in a bottle.
Crrossover with Angel too.

there is also one where they are put into a snow globe but i cant remember the name of it. I know it was very smutty if that helps anyone remember the name

Thanks for all the responses, guys, but none of the are it... perhaps I'm not remembering right. Maybe it wasn't a big glass dome, but wherever they were kept had beds and a bathroom etc... they were kept there for months or maybe years. Maybe Buffy fell pregnant... and there were Watchers wanting to study her baby and when she's about to give birth one of them is hit with a food tray.... I think....

Sounds like "To See the Sun Again" by Kallysten. There is also a series of follow-up fics called "Days in The Sun." If you google her website, you should be able to find it.

There was a series that started that way by Kallysten but I think she pulled it: The Babyverse.

Winter's series wasn't with Watchers (at least I don't think so) but something like it. Meow by Kari Mouke was a man using Spike to cure his daughter (not telling lol) and Buffy being a curious kitty went along for the napping.

The description you are looking for sounds a heck of a lot like this one too:

Lonely In Your Nightmare by Bloodshedbaby Rated: R (WIP)

During an alternate season 2, Buffy was kidnapped by a secret miilitary group and used for experimentation purposes. Upon her escape, Buffy must stay on the run to avoid recapture by the relentless soldiers who want her back. When she discovers she is pregnant through their experimental tampering, her desperation to stay one step ahead of them escalates. Yes, this is a vampire/slayer fic, and of COURSE it's spuffy. NEW CHAPTER ADDED (after two years, it's about time!)

That story is about soldiers and Watchers coming into the (surprisingly) rescue along with the gang.


That part I am starting to believe is either those after the prophecy baby in Winters series or Lonely in Your Nightmare by Bloodshedbaby. Check them both out, but be prepared to read a long series with Winters. Awesome series even though it's not finished, it's enough to be well worth the read!
